OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY IS OUT THERE MAKING AN IMPACT.

We generate ideas no one else has. We are bold. Fearless. Determined. We answer the toughest questions, solve the most complex problems and inspire future generations to do the same.

Oregon State is an international public research university with more than 34,000 students, eleven colleges and a statewide presence, including OSU-Cascades in Bend, the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, the Portland Center, and agricultural research and Extension centers across Oregon. We are a diverse, inclusive and welcoming community, drawing people from all fifty states and more than 100 countries. We embrace our responsibility to Oregon and the world, building a future that’s smarter, healthier, more prosperous and more just. We see what could be and have worked relentlessly for over 150 years to make it so.

Students come to Oregon State brimming with potential and motivated to achieve their goals. They can choose from more than 200 academic programs and experiential learning opportunities through research, internships and study abroad. Guided by exceptional faculty, students make important discoveries, create innovative products and discover new ways to make a better world for all.

We are proud to call Corvallis home and to be part of one of the smartest, safest, most sustainable and best all-around college towns in the U.S. Come visit and tour our historic campus. Walk with a friend along the tree-lined streets, grab a coffee or share a pizza on Monroe Avenue or dress in your favorite Beaver gear and follow the cheers to Reser Stadium, Gill Coliseum or Goss Stadium. Gain a new perspective from one of our notable faculty, visit a gallery or take in a theater or musical performance.
