Based on the financial program FZHR of the Albanian Government for the Renovation and Reconstruction of Albanian Urban Spaces, this project was designed with the purpose to renovate the city center of Konispol, including the square, the park and the buildings inside the site project. The concept is to design new urban furniture, modern facade and renovate old buildings, to create new feelings.

A
Designing a new public space includes a lot of elements like memories, tradition, existing buildings, historical development of the urban area, etc that makes every architects to reflect about his project Idea. The facades in the photo are situated in front of the public square and we design a multinational horizontal element of distribution for the first level, to create connection and rhythm. Part of these buildings are informal by the law so it was the request of the public administration to ask for ‘‘ a new design for a new face of the city center’’.

We proposed a rectangular square with parts in green areas with 3 models of bench design connected with other vertical elements for public information’s or entertainment. A big plane tree, as a symbol of the city is designed as e open theatre. The floor of the square is designed in pattern with red lines of concrete bricks and Grey stone of the zone. We decided to change the functions of the buildings and introduced some sport activities in the square to maintain the space all the day full of people. This project includes also the development design and was separated in 2 lots: lot 1- public square; lot 2 - park.

EKS (eco campus SARANDA) is the design project of a nursery, elementary and middle school, high school and an Olympic pool. The master plan of EKS is designed as a school campus and a space with sport activities for all the families living around the site plan. 15
After we had designed the master plan, the first building that was designed in the development design phase was the middle school with a capacity of 750 students. As part of the program for sustainable buildings, we designed a project in accordance with European standards for Sustainable buildings making attention for technical details for aluminum glass facade with thermal break or thermal insulation. 16
The building is developed in 5 floors: In the underground is situated the parking zone, in the ground floor laboratories and administration offices, from the first to third floor are situated classroom, laboratories, network class and services. The concept design of the building is a rectangular with the ground floor in typical stone of SARANDA and the other 3 floors have perimeter glass facade for major transparence with the sea. 17

The Project for the Master plan of the City Center of Lac 21 the renovation of the Albanian city’s. represent
The city of Lac, and the church of Shna Ndout. Our purpose was to design a functional and social city center, to create a new renovated center. In addition to that the boulevard (650m) is the primary axe of connection of the city center, the park and the playground. The facades of the buildings in front view of the boulevard and the square were renovated with a metallic structure in metallic mesh. 22
The mask of the metallic mesh we used have two function: To give a new uniform facade to the buildings using contemporary materials and to create the structure for the vertical vegetation. Bench, water fountains, lights elements were designed as integrated parts of the project. The pattern of the square is designed as a symbol to identify the direction of the church on the top hill of Lac. We used 4 different coloration of stone for the floor square. 23

RAB (Architectural Rehabilitation of Albanian Coast) is the financial program for the Renewal of the Albanian Urban Coast Areas. Protopapa is the new neighborhood of Qeparo, a touristic village situated in south Albania. The client, Municipality of Himara, asked for a Master plan and a design project to transform all buildings in traditional Albanian house.
We decided to design the new Master plan of Protopapa with the purpose to create a new village in based in traditional Albanian architecture for touristic attraction. So, in addition to that we create new infrastructure streets, new vertical boulevards (typical for this zone), new panoramic points, playground in the water etc. Our propose of design was to create a social-touristic and new economic possibilities for this village. 28
The street ‘‘Rruga e Mesit’’ This street will be the main access for the traffic in the entire village, adopted for the people living in the village and for the tourist. From the square situated in the top hill we have info points, parking’s, bar /restaurants, and panoramic balconies, we can go down through the vertical boulevard that have functions as panoramic views, bars and water fountains. 29

Thesis. The master plan for the renewal of the city center of Berat (UNESCO heritage 2008) was designed with the purpose to create new activities and new social and economic strategies by renovating the city center, the central square, the park, the riverbanks and to create new urban strategic development for the city.
Proposing a new city center. The new square i proposed is designed as a rectangular shape 2:1 closed in north/east/west with new temporary metallic structures and in the south I proposed two water fountains and a grand staircase that is connected with the river. From here we can move in the path designed in the riverbank, connected with other key pints of the city. 34
Analyzing missing functions of the city I proposed a new playground for children protected with big trees and vegetation. The boulevard was completely redesigned to create e new axis that start from the stadium and finish in the protected area of Mangalem. My proposal for the park and the new square in front of Mangalem as integrated parts of the Master plan design has completely e new design, with new paths, type of vegetation and illumination. 35

MZHU. Ministry of Urban Development The project is an architectural restoration project and the reconstruction of the new fourth floor plan. For this project we had two different approach for the building. First of all, we proposed the restoration of the existing building (Monument cat. III). Secondly we proposed a project for the new extra level in contemporary materials as an architectural approach of restoration giving more attention for the monumental building.

Situated in the center of Tirane the new building of MZHU needs more administrative spaces so in the first floor we designed the hall and all administrative offices open to the public, the second and third floor we proposed offices related to the administrative functions of the ministry, conference rooms, Minister office and her cabinet, and for the new level we proposed open space offices with open patio and conference rooms. 40
Particular attention for the design was done for the thermal/hydro insulation of the building and for the glass facade to maintain the temperature in summer or winter. So we designed all the necessary details and after we had all the thermal information, we proposed the type of the glass facade and the isolation for the building. The patios in the fourth level are designed as a social space with vegetation and water fountains. 41

The competition for the restoration and renovation of the new building of Italian Consulate in Shkoder was a challenge for our office to design a renovated architectural building for international client and in a special city as Shkoder, full of architecture tradition.
We stared the project design with us propose for the restoration of the facades, analyzing the existing building and other information’s (photo, original project, possibly intervention etc.) and after that we made an analytical study for internal distribution and functions. Our proposal was to create an entrance hall in the first floor, offices open to the public and space dedicated to conference and classrooms for children as part of the program. 46
For the second floor we proposed other offices, and more space to the children as a new Multi-functional building. Other spaces were dedicated to a cultural center, an open theatre and the new space in front of the building was redesigned as a space for open activities. So, the consulate changed the function to a new multi-functional building for Italian cultural activities for Albanian children’s. 47

Chinese Building. The building is situated I the center of Shkoder and as all Albanian social housing needs a new architectural approach for the facade and a new project for the expansion of the ground floor for small business activities.
Our propose for the Master plan was to create a new image for the entrance of the boulevard. So we designed the public space in front of the building, proposing new urban furniture, new vegetation and a new floor pattern. For the facade we propose uniform windows and balconies and a new protection shelter. Part of the project was the development design of the DEHORS, a new architectural approach for business space. 52
We designed the new DEHORS as a dedicated space for all the business situated in the ground floor of the building. The facade of the DEHORS was made in glass folder system to have more connection with the exterior. The structure was design with metallic elements and in addition to that we designed all the details parts for the project. We had special attention for floor material and the interior design of the DEHORS, so that giving a new architectural space. 53

The project has born as a collaboration between the Florence University and the Municipality of Prato, to design new urban areas and new buildings for social housing. So we designed a new master plan that complete the existing social housings and create a new urban park with sport activities and playground.
We proposed 4 different types of apartments based on the statistical of real estate and the information’s of the municipality of Prato about the families of the zone. We designed apartments with 98sqm, 84sqm, 75sqm and 64sqm. For different types of families. All the apartments were design with balconies to create more connection with the park and the square. 58
Between the two buildings we designed a new square for the site zone with business function in the ground floor. The facades of the 4 buildings have uniform openings, balconies and horizontal wood bruise soleil system. The new public space designed have vegetation, urban furniture and is connected with the park with a colonnade, typical architectural element of Italian architecture. Part of the project was the park and fountain. 59

The project was designed by Italian studio of architecture Michele Cro’. ILLYRIA square is situated in the center of Durres, and the architect’s proposal for the project is a multi-functional space with green areas, water fountains, art sculpture elements and an animation of light effects for the night. 62
Everest shpk won the competition for the construction of the project from the municipality of Durres. My work in this projects consist in organizing construction documents, meetings with clients, find and contact with material product or, supervision of the construction and assistance to the director of the construction with detail designs. 63

The project for the new public square Taulantia public space, urban cape and park in Durres is one of the most famous squares of Albania because of the new project of the landscape architects BOOM Landscape+ Cityfรถrster Architecture + Urbanism for its particular form. The site project is situated in north of Durres, in the Adriatic coast 66
My work in this projects consist in organizing construction documents, meetings with clients, find and contact with material product or, supervision of the construction and assistance to the director of the construction with detail designs. The most difficult part for the construction of the urban cape was the force of the sea, so the construction was supported by big mass of stones, and then we started the construction of the panoramic stairs. 67

The construction of the Elbasan Arena was separated in 3 different phase. The first phase was the construction of the structure and the football area, the second phase was the construction of the new facade of the stadium and the third the construction of the metallic cover of the stadium. 70
I was responsible for the construction of the third phase, the metallic structure of the roof. My work on this project was the management of the construction, and as the director of the construction I had to supervise and organize the groups of specialists in the site, support them with construction details design and rapport to my superiors for the construction process. Some of the working process was made in Greece in specialized company. 71
