Record Keeper Double terminated Lemurian seed quartz crystal All Lemurian quartz crystals are said to be record keepers, but the presence of triangles on the faces of the crystal are extra special. Physically, the relatively small but precise triangle shape is raised or sunken into one or more sides of the termination point. Often several triangles are found together, but are generally difficult to see, with light having to be reflected directly off of the surface in order to become visible. There are stories of record keeper triangles appearing that were not there before, and disappearing after having previously been identified. It is thought that the record keeper triangles are formed when a mineral-rich solution flowed over protrusions on the surface of the crystal point, and point in the direction of the fluid flow. Metaphysically, it is believed that crystals with record keeper triangles can be used to access information stored within the crystal via meditation or intention, and that they are highly programmable, enabling storage of one’s own information and data. The three points of the triangle are said to represent the balance between physical, mental and emotional aspects of life. It has also been said that crystals with record keeper triangles have facilitated access to information stored within the Akashic Records (a compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions and intent ever to have occurred, believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane), with the triangle shape representative of a door or gateway. They are said to activate dormant intuitive and psychic abilities, and assist communication with spirit guides. We have to mention that Lemurian quartz crystals are considered master crystals, and are relatively rare. Naturally double terminated Lemurian quartz crystals are even rarer, and are even more powerful, being able to both transmit and receive information at the same time – especially useful for balancing energies, be it between chakras or people. Record-keeper triangle-faced double-terminated Lemurian quartz crystals are incredible specimens, the crème de la crème, and are very rare indeed. Although the triangles only need to appear on one face for the crystal to be considered a record keeper, most of the record keeper Lemurian crystals we use have the record keeper triangle markings on both ends, with the arrows pointing in the direction of the termination at both terminations. These are rarely seen for sale, and command high prices when they are.
