Who we are
The Purpose of Valley Entrepreneur Valley Entrepreneur was founded with the promise to deliver practical, inspirational and entrepreneurial stories in the fields of business, management, marketing, sales, finance and human resources. The Valley Entrepreneur Journal strives to be the most influential entrepreneurial publication in South Texas. We want to inspire and encourage successful participation in the entrepreneurial world. We understand this can only be achieved by delivering quality information on entrepreneurial mindset, business skills, economic climate, professional opportunities and challenges, and future trends. Valley Entrepreneur wants to become the flagship for helping connect young and old entrepreneurial mindsets. We want to nurture bonds among the community leaders and entrepreneurs, and among every other individual in the community with the will to succeed. We want to report new business partnerships, corporate mergers, infrastructure changes, new developments as well as startups and non-profits. We think the time for giving back to the land is now, that is why we also want to attract entrepreneurs and investors by promoting our region. We will publish innovative business solutions with the goal of helping our readers succeed. We understand the business landscape and we genuinely want to nurture it. The first step will be partnerships with local, national and off-shore experts, companies, brands and publishers in exchange for content material in the areas of management, marketing, leadership and finance. We will reward them by giving them access to our much beloved population. Throughout the year we will host several conferences offering everything from hands-on technical training to business etiquette and management skills. We expect our efforts to be rewarded on our annual meeting of entrepreneurs, investors and local leaders, exchanging ideas and creating everlasting bonds.
The People Behind Valley Entrepreneur Valley Entrepreneur stands in that fine point between a corporation and a non-profit. Having the motivation and values of a non-profit, but with the entrepreneurial and expanding mindset of a business. The Valley Entrepreneur is an affiliate of the Southwest Community Investment Corporation, a 501 C 3 non-profit organization in partnership with business specialists in the for profit sector. The intention of establishing a business partnership is to have a sustainable source of revenue that helps expand the non-profit and programs such as The Women’s Business Center and entrepreneurial research projects.. Local business will also be benefited by being able to communicate their plans through advertisement to a wider, entrepreneurial audience.
The Audience Valley Entrepreneur readers are well-off decision-makers who generously spend large sums of money through both their personal and business assets. The mix of personal and business resources plays an important role when considering the purpose of significant purchases. The majority of our readers will be current entrepreneurs who are either, running their own business or business leaders with the power to make decisions. The population at large with the desire to start their own business will also be a part of our readership. Our material will help them expand their knowledge regarding financial education, business management, latest trends and developments, and local entrepreneurial stories. In the following months, start-ups are more likely to invest in B2B related services including marketing, legal, and accounting, among others recommended. This opens up a new marketing platform for established and new product and service providers that want to get more attention and receive more traction through our publication.

Website On this era of digital information in real-time, no reputable publisher can keep its brand alive without having a strong online presence. We have the technical expertise to launch a powerful brand online. The website will be used to both republish content from the printed magazine, as well as serving as a real-time conversation enhancer. It will also serve as the main point for local events, news, business directory, and newsletters.
Digital Distribution On an ever-changing digital world, we must make sure the magazine stays relevant and makes use of the latest technologies in the most appropriate manner. The magazine will be available at launch at our website, and sent to over 5,000 business owners & entrepreneurs via email, plus distributed through our social media networks. We are also developing a native mobile application that will be available for iPhone and Android users in the fall.
