Peter’s work
By Luis Raventós and Company
To my teddy bear
To Remigio and Jenaro’s friends
Peter is a man
Peter is a farmer
God placed Peter on Earth‌
to work the land
Cow is in the stable.
Grass is in the countryside.
Peter has to take the cow to the countryside,
Peter has to take the grass to the stable;
And this is to work,
Peter is a saint
Because he makes happily what God asks to him
There are many people on Earth.
And everyone
Has his own work
And all of us must to be saints,
Each one
In his work
But... ¿Why?
God creates Heaven and Earth,
And everything...
Birds are made to fly. People are made to work.
And everyday we work harder
Everyday we work better...
We can speak without shouting, and people can listen to us from far away.
We can fly
...and we can have fun.
And all of this is because of the work of people.
There are people that work but they are not saints...
And there is other people that work‌ and they are saint.
To be a saint, we must work as God’s will.
It is needed to work well:
That way
Not that way,
Even nobody is looking at you...
Because God can see everything.
Finishing well every work
Not delaying work
Not that way,
That way,
With arrangement:
Not that way
That way;
And with a sense of humor, even if we are tired
Not that way,
That way.
do what you ought and concentrate on what you are doing:
ยกSo not that way! Do not this.
Remember that every work has its own rules;
Not that way – that way Not that way – that way
Not that way – that way
Not that way – that way
Peter’s life
Peter takes care of his family with his work,
He loves Luisa, his wife‌ He tries to dedicate time to everyone‌
He educates his sons and helps his parents.
He helps poor people, the parish and missions
While hes is working, he raises his heart to God
And he greets God
...when he passes near a Sanctuary.
He loves the Virgin Mary very much
At 12:00 he prays the Angelus
Peter knows how to search God in his heart, and he talks to Him.
Le cuenta sus cosas...
And God is happy, and smiles...
Because Peter is a saint, although no one knows it...
Peter’s friends know that Peter works well.
They know that Peter is a good friend, always is happy and with a happy family
And when they are alone, thay ask to him what is the secret:
-ÂżWhy are you always happy?
And Peter answers to them:
-God has placed us on Earth
To be happy
Although sometimes it is difficult
And now, all his friends work that way...
And in every house there is joy...
Although sometimes things are difficult...
All of them works happily obeying God as Peter has teach to them
And everybody in the village is happy.
