THE LOST DRACMA He proposed this parable, saying: Who among you who will be taking their hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and went in search of the lost one until he finds it? And once found, puts it on his shoulders and happy back home, calls to friends and neighbors, saying them: you Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep. I I say you that the sky will be greater joy over one sinner that does penance by ninetynine just who need not penance. Or what woman having ten drachmas, if it loses onne, it turns on the light, sweeps the house and search carefully until she find it? And once found she convenes meeting to friends and neighbors, saying: Rejoice you with me because I found the drachma that was lost. Such will tell you the joy among the angels of God over one sinner that does penance. The tireless patience of God Rejoice with me because I found the drachma that I have was lost. The parable of the lost drachma, if we listen carefully, it teachs us thetireless patience with the love of God, looking at each of those who do are worthy sons. All feel the emotion seizes us every time we reread the first two parables of mercy, which Luke has placed as wonderful introduction to the story of the prodigal son. The joy of the Good Shepherd who finds his lost sheep reminiscent, perhaps, of such period or sin of indifference that the Lord took us to reconcile ourselves with him. Now, back to the fold, think of those who are still away from him and pray for the conversion of poor sinners that the devil has derailed as the currency of the second parable; then ... back to the regular Mass -Loans and advances tested, Christians gathered for Sunday Mass, most of which will approach a few moments to the Holy Table, if not contained parables for us, for you, a lesson that is always present? And you think our Lord would not have made more than twice repeating the same invoice parables teaching in two symmetrical? Is not it more likely that each has a particular meaning? The atmosphere of each of them is in fact very different. The hundredth sheep had strayed away from the herd, in a desert region; was in danger of being estimbar a cliff or being devoured by wolves. His situation was tragic and the Good Shepherd has actually booted to a certain death. The second parable leads to a modest home in Galilee. The injury is less serious. A village woman realizes he has lost drachma. When he was ten, counts them and finds it again. The missing drachma could very well be the price of a day's work; or perhaps after the currency had a collar monedetes that the woman had received as a gift the day of their wedding and the joy has been descabalada or, to open the wallet to pay for a purchase you just made, a coin has been dropped from his hands. In any case, the fact that filming has come and has gone under some furniture. The truth is that there is nothing serious; surely find one day ... no need to put it all legs in the air, then lost to the interior of the house. True, sยกha not actually lost, but women need it immediately. From this moment lacks currency. This is what our Lord. Although no break on the trail of a sinner until he finds and takes again to the fold, there is less concern he feels for the faithful who, without abandoning his Church, in a way he out of hand. Therefore, it is me, it is you, it is us who it is in the parable of the lost drachma, hidden in any dark corner of the apartment. Of us who practice the true religion, we are even regulars in the frequency of the sacraments and that, however, we intend to live for ourselves, making us our composition; us, Christians, instead of serving God and our
