Not being happy with my work so far with this brief I decided to try a new direction, the problem I had with my previous work was that I felt was too structured around line work and I wanted to push it further toward an interpretation of female shapes. The image above is a colour study from a class with Paul Klee at the Bauhaus in 1925. What drew me to this image is that to me it looks like a pair of breasts, this isn’t the intention but it’s the same suggestive effect which I want my outcome to embody.
