2022 SUMMER CAMPS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN FOR COVID-19 • In addition to developing an engaging and educational curriculum, our team has worked with the American Camp Association and their CDC liaisons to help us design a high quality health and safety plan to support campers and staff. • We ask that all campers attending abide by our Health Information Flyer. This Flyer has the most up-to-date information that follows recommendations for CDC and local health officials. To view the Health Information Flyer, please visit osc.org/summer-camps.

WHY ARE CAMPS BROKEN DOWN BY GRADE LEVELS? Orlando Science Center Summer Camps are designed to provide our campers with a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate program. To promote teamwork and provide the best experience for all campers, please register children for Camps offered to the grade level they will enter in Fall 2022. OSC reserves the right to move campers into camps appropriate for their level.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION • Camp hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. • Labeling items such as lunch boxes with the camper’s name is highly encouraged. OSC is not responsible for any personal items. • Program capacities are subject to change. • OSC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs for any reason. • Individuals requiring special accommodations should submit a written request to the Education Department 30 days prior to the start of the Camp session.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CAMPER We want every camper’s experience at camp to be positive and memorable. To provide that experience, campers should be able to: • Move independently from place to place • Take care of their own personal needs • Have effective interactions in their group-based environment (ex. buddy systems, group projects, etc.) • Abide by the Camper Behavior Expectation Agreement (Grades K – 9 campers only) • Abide by the Orlando Science Center Health Info Flyer If you have any questions about the essential functions listed above, please contact us at 407.514.2112. We would be happy to talk to you about your camper’s specific needs. 4
