INTRODUCTION Art and craft. Skill and passion. Tradition and innovation. For four generations, our family has been fusing and perfecting all facets of leathercraft to create beautiful, functional and enduring leather goods. In the process, that expertise and skill has been passed from one generation to the next. A tradition begun over 80 years ago by our great-grandfather in Oaxaca, Mexico is being carried on in our home city of Portland, Oregon by a new generation of leather artisans who have spent their lives learning the craft at the shoulder of their fathers and grandfathers. Our name Orox is a fusion of the two places most important to us: Oregon and Oaxaca. Today, we are proud to offer a line of American-made bags, belts and small leather goods informed by our Oaxacan roots, and crafted by hand in our Portland workshop. We use only the highest quality, American-sourced leather and sustainable materials. And as we revive our inherited craft and mix it with our best new ideas, we are guided by the principal of creating products that honor our family tradition.
