DEAR FRIENDS, It’s been a difficult year for us all, but one that we have overcome with incredible strength! Our NCSY programs, which are well known for the impact they have when teens meet up in person, have had to take a different direction these past few months. As a result of Covid, we have moved all our programs online, and I am proud to say, we still have reached a majority of our teens through creative and innovative programs that never stopped delivering. While I can say that NCSY has shown incredible resilience in meeting the challenges of our time—our teens have shown the most resilience of all. They have logged to join their peers in many hundreds of programs over the last few months. It’s really been incredible! Your donations on our Giving Day will help us continue our online programming and also help us gear up for the next phase of our journey, which, G-d willing, will happen very soon. Once we are allowed to meet up again in person, we are excited to bring back all the programs that NCSY has become known for—Shabbatons, in-person learning groups, Live2Give chesed projects, trips to New York, Israel, and much much more. It is in this light that I am thrilled to recognize our honourees Amy and Tommy Stopnicki, Beverlee London, and Stephen Rosen A”H. SUMMER PROGRAMS Summer study and fun for teens that inspires a passion for Israel and the Jewish People highlighted by our flagship The Jerusalem Journey (TJJ) program in Israel. LEARN & EARN Weekly one-on-one Torah study by student participants with mentors from across the community. SHABBATONS A full weekend Shabbat experience of informative Torah study, prayer, song, dance, celebration and bonding,

including guest speakers, live entertainment and a special spiritual atmosphere. LIVE 2 GIVE Tzedeka, learning, and social action activities brought together by a dedicated group of NCSY teens, raising funds for causes within and beyond the community. FAMILY SHABBAT DINNERS Unforgettable and inspirational Friday night dinner experiences, bringing teens and their families into congregations throughout the community, paired with families from participating shuls.

IMPACT Our most dedicated participants engage in weekly mentored learning and leadership development, coming together as well for shabbatons and inspirational speakers. JFX The NCSY Jewish Family Experience (JFX) offers NCSY and Torah High parents a fresh look at Judaism in a way that offers education, inspiration and a strong connection to the Jewish community. JUNIORS NCSY Juniors provides exciting shabbatons, school clubs, learning programs, and social events for teens in Grades 6-8. Whether its gathering around a BBQ, enjoying a Purim party with good friends, or travelling together to a fabulous Shabbaton, NCSY Juniors is the place for middle school teens to be. YARCHEI KALLAH An intensive five-day academic study retreat featuring top Jewish educators from North America and Israel. I have had the pleasure of meeting Beverlee London in 1994. She bought a new car from the dealership where I worked and the sales manager introduced me to her I said that I would take good care of her whenever her new car would require servicing. Over these many years we have developed a close relationship not just as a customer but as a sincere friend. It didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t take long to realize what an unselfish and giving person Beverlee was. She would frequent our dealership gracing us with her presence and her always stimulating and meaningful conversations. She never came in empty handed,bring in delicious homemade cakes for everyone in the service department to enjoy. She did this religiously, even when her health was at its most challenging times....a truly remarkable woman.I have also been fortunate to have met her family and her late husband Art. I am deeply honoured to be a part of this dedication to Beverlee. The world would be a better place with more people like her, especially in these trying times. Elaine and Eric Wolf
