RO O F High Speed 2 Station platform
Inspired by proposals for the HS2 Trainline, my proposal is for a shelter on the platfrom of a railway station. The building aims to petrify the speed and dynamism of the high-speed trains, taking inspiration from tensegrity structures and Theo Jensen’s kinetic Strandbeest.

L A N D S C A P E The Miller’s Tale
Situated in Canterbury, this unit saw the design of an environmental centre that incorporated a museum, cafe and landscaped gardens on the site of a disused water mill. The development of my proposal takes inspiration directly from the area’s history and aims to create a reminiscent landscape that establishes an atmosphere for viewing the rest of the city.
Using Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Miller’s Tale, the landscape design combines fictional literary narrative with the historical narrative of the city itself, achieving the aims of the brief whilst weaving itself into the historical fabric of the city.

LO N G E V I T Y Sustainability, disposability & repair
This project investigates our relationship with the products/items that we surround ourselves with. Through analysis of objects, research into psychological factors and experimentation with traditional versus modern techniques of repair, I created a series of artefacts that act as a centre for conversation, allowing discussion of the implications of repair and causing us to question our current habits of consumption.

Hobbies & Interests
P H OTO G R A P H Y Over the past few years my interest in photography has increased as a counterpoint to my architectural studies. My photography aims to capture beauty in the intricacies and idiosyncrasies that surround us daily, especially in different areas around London. I focus on analogue photography, enjoying the mechanical action of capturing a specific point in time directly onto film.
