Celebrating Linda Gonzalez
Orlando, FL – Orlando Magic held a reception on Wednesday, January 25th to celebrate the career achievements of Linda Landman Gonzalez, Vice President of Community & Government Affairs.
Linda will be retiring from her position on January 31st after 15+ years of been an essential leader in the organization with great influence in the Central Florida community.

Additionally, Linda has been the leader of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, serving as President over the last 13 years. Under her direction, the Foundation has been able to positively impact thousands of lives in the community. During the event, it was announced that an annually scholarship had been created on her name to be given by the Foundation. The event was attended by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings. Both presented proclamations in her honor declaring January 25 at the day of Linda Landman Gonzalez for her exceptional community involvement.
Linda is going to stay on in a parttime consulting capacity beginning February 1st, 2023 through June 30, 2024. During this time, she will provide support and expertise to the Social Responsibility, DE&I and Sales & Marketing teams. She will also continue to serve as the OMYF Board President and Secretary until a new President is appointed.
