La Representante Estatal Paula Stark abre oficina en Kissimmee

Kissimmee, FL - La Representante

Estatal Paula Stark, del Distrito 47, celebró la apertura de su nueva oficina en Kissimmee, el martes 28 de febrero, con un Meet & Greet, acompañada por su eqipo de trabajo.

La representante se dirigió a la comunidad y compartió sus planes y los esfuerzos que llevará a Tallahassee. Ella representa los condados Osceola y Southeast Orange.

Desde proyectos para educación, vivienda y construccion, justicia criminal, empleos, reducción de impuestos y la creación de una junta asesora, su agenda está llena para éste próximo año.

Representantes de la Cámara de Osceola, Dirk Webb, Presidente/CEO de la Cámara de Comercio de St. Cloud Greater Osceola y Julius Melendez de la Junta Escolar de Osceola, asistieron al evento y participaron en el corte de cinta, entre otros.

El evento fue muy concurrido donde funcionarios gubernamentales y líderes empresariales y comunitarios estuvieron presentes y disfrutaron de refrigerios en el lugar.

Kissimmee, FL - State Representative Paula Stark, District 47, celebrated the opening of her new office in Kissimmee on Tuesday, February 28 with a Meet & Greet joined by her staff.

Rep. Paula Stark addressed the community on the plans and efforts she will take to Tallahassee. She represents Osceola and Southeast Orange Counties.

With projects for education, housing and construction, criminal justice, jobs, tax cuts and the creation of an advisory board, hes agenda is full for this coming year.

Rep. Stark invited the attendees to communicate with the other representatives and let them know what projects they support, since these being at the state level, she is not the only one to make the final decision.

Representatives from The Osceola Chamber, Dirk Webb, President/CEO of the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, and Julius Melendez from Osceola County School Board attended the event and participated in the ribbon cutting, among others.

In the well-attended event, government officials, business and community leaders were present and enjoyed refreshments on-site.

Road Construction

Desvío de Lakeshore Blvd de Kissimmee y St. Cloud comenzó

Condado Osceola, FL - La construcción del proyecto F ortune-Lakeshore Multi-Use Trail requerirá un cierre de carretera en Lakeshore Boulevard y Brown Chapel Road a partir del 28 de febrero.

Mientras que se estima que el desvío estará vigente durante 180 días, los funcionarios del condado están trabajando con el contratista para reducir la duración del cierre.

El cierre de la carretera permitirá la instalación de un puente peatonal sobre el Canal C-31 y la construcción de estructuras y tuberías para mejorar el sistema de drenaje en la zona afectada por el sendero.

Durante el período de desvío, se les pide a los automovilistas en el área que estén atentos a las señales de tráfico instaladas y mantengan la conciencia de los trabajadores en la zona de construcción.

Kissimmee and St. Cloud Lakeshore Blvd detour started

Osceola County, FL - Construction on the Fortune-Lakeshore Multi-Use Trail project will require a road closure at Lakeshore Boulevard and Brown Chapel Road starting on Feb. 28.

While the detour is estimated to be in place for 180 days, County officials are working with the contractor to reduce the length of the closure.

The road closure will allow installation of a pedestrian bridge over the C-31 Canal and the construction of structures and pipes to improve the drainage system in the area affected by the trail.

During the detour period, motorists in the area are asked to be attentive to installed road signs and maintain awareness of workers in the construction zone.
