GENERAL INFORMATION

Import Promotion Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) works on behalf of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO to support SMEs from selected partner countries, facilitating market access and opening up new business opportunities in Switzerland and the European Union. We support The Swiss Import Promotion Programme SIPPO provides programme participants with detailed information on specific industries and conditions in their target markets. We help you meet the requirements (i.e. certification) for entry into new markets. We offer coaching sessions (e.g. on export marketing or quality assurance). We connect We put you in contact with potential buyers at international trade fairs, during trade missions or on study tours. IMM – THE INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR

On the basis of anticipated market opportunities S-GE offers an Import Promotion Programme on indoor furniture. The next IMM fair will open its doors for exhibitors and buyers alike from 19th – 25th January, 2015 in Cologne, Germany. For the international interior design sector, imm cologne is the N° 1 business platform. At the first international interior design show in each year you always find out exactly which trends will be vital over the coming months. Here, under one roof, you find a range of market-ready products unrivalled in terms of its breadth and depth. For both exhibitors and buyers from all the important market sectors, imm cologne with its unique overview of the international product range, remains the most important arena for the global furniture trade and the experienced public. The IMM fair is your opportunity to launch new products, meet new buyers (importers, wholesalers, retailers, agents), learn about emerging trends and access the global indoor furniture market. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION Booth at SIPPO Pavilion & Preparation Workshop on 18th January

SIPPO TRADE FAIR SERVICES

 Exhibition booth at SIPPO Pavilion (stand rental & stand construction): on average 18-20m2 are allocated per participant; depending on the availability of stand space, nature of products, etc.)  Hotel accommodation in Cologne for max. 2 persons in a double/twin bedroom from 17th – 26th January 2015 (7 nights)  Matchmaking services in order to attract a large number of quality contacts.  Trade fair preparation workshop on 18th January 2015  Marketing support/promotional activities: company profile in SIPPO exhibitors brochure and Emailing to potential buyers, other promotional activities (advertisements, etc.)  Entry of company name in official trade fair catalogue  Preparation support (information packages, product-selection, visa applications, etc.)  Assistance of international consultants and SIPPO project team during the trade fair and in the Follow-up SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE

     

Additional overnight accommodation and extras (phone calls, mini-bar, additional participants, etc.) Shipment of the exhibits Travel costs to Cologne and back and personal expenses Meals and other personal expenses Personal insurance and Transport and exhibition insurance of goods Additional stand arrangements, audio-visual equipment, etc.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATING COMPANY

   

Registration fee to be paid into Switzerland Global Enterprise bank account within 10 days after reception of the invoice. Both representatives of the company must be fluent in English and must be present for the entire length of the trade fair and the preparation workshop. The company must inform SIPPO on a confidential basis about contacts established and business concluded during and after the trade fair. SIPPO shall reserve the right to alternate the programme if needed.

PARTICIPATION FEES

  

USD 1’500 +19% VAT if the company participates the 1 st time USD 2’200 +19% VAT if the company participates the 2nd time USD 2’800 +19% VAT if the company participates the 3rd time

In case the company withdraws from your registration the participation fee is non-refundable. The number of participants attending the fair will be limited. We will offer the opportunity as far as possible to eco-friendly companies.

TARGET GROUP / SELECTION CRITERIA

SIPPO focuses on small and medium-sized companies that  are ready for the international market and have a high commercial reliability  preferably have some export experience  have products marketable in Switzerland and the European Union  produce according to international quality standards  are motivated and dedicated to deal with new markets  have a representative in the company who has a sufficient command of the English language (verbal and written fluency)  have legal status “private” and owned by local residents VISA
