SIPPO Swiss Import Promotion Programme. The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is a mandate of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) within the framework of its economic development cooperation. Part of ­Switzerland’s foreign economic strategy, the programme is conducted by Osec, the official Swiss foreign trade promotion agency. The Swiss Import Promotion Programme connects importers from the European Union, Switzerland and other EFTA countries with suitable suppliers of high-quality products from partner countries.

Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa FTTSA. Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA) is a non-profit organisation that promotes sustainable tourism development. They do this through awareness raising, research and advocacy, capacity building and by facilitating the world’s first tourism Fair Trade certification programme. FTTSA awards the use of special label to qualifying businesses as a way of signifying their commitment to Fair Trade criteria ­including fair wages and working conditions, fair purchasing, fair operations, equitable distribution of benefits and respect for ­human rights, culture and environment. By electing to stay at or use the services of an FTTSA-certified ­establishment, tourists are assured that their travel benefits local communities and economies, and that the business is operated ethically and in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Tourism Enterprise Partnership TEP. WEALTH and JOBS. Creating a better society where all have an equal chance of success and prosperity is at the core of the 足Tourism Enterprise Partnership (TEP). TEP is a Non Profit Company and a flagship public private partnership. It is one of the longest standing and most successful enterprise development partners for small tourism businesses in South Africa. TEP utilises funding from Corporate South Africa足and Government to facilitate the growth, development and s足 ustainability of small tourism businesses. Each year TEP invests millions in the expansion of these busines足 ses across South Africa. TEP has developed a unique enterprise development model that allows small businesses to graduate upwards and overcome the credibility crises suffered by many.
