By Tamas Mondovics
Injured USMC Corporal Anthony Trzeciak (center) and his family are joined by local representatives of Building Homes For Heroes during a recent ceremony where he was honored for his service and sacrifice to his country by being presented with a brand new mortgage-free home in Riverview.
Heroes made sure that the entire house is built to help the wheelchair-bound vet in every way possible, including maneuvering in and around his new home. Special features include no step at the front door, lowered counter tops and pull-out cabinets in the kitchen and throughout the house, not to mention one of the best features; the handicap-accessible bathroom with a 5 ft. radius allowing him to wheel around with ease. Anthony enlisted in the military in 2008 in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, and served through January of 2012. On July 1, 2011, Anthony’s vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan, injuring his back and head. Afterward, he contracted an infection and was paralyzed from the waist

Built by William Ryan Homes in the Enclave at South Fork community in Riverview, the new four bedroom, 2,600 sq. ft. house includes amenities like a screened-in pool overlooking a lake in the back. The pool will come in handy for Anthony as he continues to perform his water therapy, and Building Homes for

Bay Area Chorale Seeks New Members, Area YMCAs Offer Free Meals, Welcomes All Who Love To Sing Swim Lessons This Summer By Kathy L. Collins By Kathy L. Collins
Area YMCAs are offering a free summer food program to any child through the age of 18, along with a free drowning prevention program.
This summer, YMCAs in the greater Brandon and SouthShore areas have partnered with Hillsborough County Public Schools to offer a free summer food program to any child through the age of 18. The Summer Food Program is available from Monday, June 13 through Friday, August 5. Meal times vary at each Y, so visit www.tampaymca.org/programs/camp/summer for more information. While children need programs during the summer to keep them active and prevent them from falling behind in school, children cannot focus when they are hungry. Children who rely on free or reduced lunches during the school year are at risk of going hungry when school is not in session. In partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools, the Y’s Summer Food Program helps fill the gap for many children who rely on low cost lunches during the school year. Last summer, the Y’s program served more than 135,000 meals and 200,000 snacks. According to
Lalita Llerena, communications director for the Tampa Area YMCAs, “We have provided free summer meals to our campers and community children for years, but this is the first year that the Y has partnered with the school district to provide this program.” In addition to the Summer Food Program, area YMCAs will also offer Go For Green drowning prevention program at no extra charge to campers this summer. The Y’s Go For Green program provides free swim lessons to Y summer campers who are unable to pass the swim test. They receive free swim lessons throughout the summer until they can pass the test and get a green wristband. The program is made possible due to support from the Tampa Bay Rays, United Way Suncoast and the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. “When kids are out of school, they can face hurdles that prevent them from reaching their full potential, related to hunger, water safety, academics, safe spaces to play and health,” said Rob Gray, vice president of operations for the Family Y at Big Bend Road. “Through summer camp and other youth development programs, the Y helps youth achieve more, providing a safe place to learn, stay healthy and build friendships.” For more information about these programs, visit www.tampaymca.org.

The Brenda Wade Team Visits Washington D.C.
By Michelle Caceres
Stem Cell Institute of America Treatments are now available at Riverview Medical Find out if the latest medical breakthrough is right for you!
You and a guest are cordially invited to attend this 2-hour educational seminar by the Stem Cell Institute of America. The Brenda Wade Team felt the patriotic pull of Washington D.C., helping them connect with their military buyers and sellers.
The Brenda Wade Team doesn’t just work together; they play together. Brenda treats her hard-working team to getaways for well-deserved relaxation and team building. A recent four-day getaway to Washington D.C. not only provided much needed time out, but it also amplified the team's patriotism and love for the country. “We serve so many families that make huge sacrifices and I wanted the team to better understand them and feel this arc of patriotism at these sacred places,” said Brenda. The team visited different memorials: Air Force, World War II, Korean War as well as The White House, Library of Congress, Supreme Court and more. It was a whirlwind four days, they were determined to see all that D.C. had to offer. It was Closing Manager Sondra Hill’s first time visiting the nation’s capital. She felt humbled at The Marine Corps War Memorial, which was a reminder of the grit, courage, honor, resilience and fortitude of the people who came before us and protected this country’s freedom. She was also moved at Arlington National Cemetery. “Every single American should experience standing on its hallowed ground,” she said. The visit was also moving for Brenda, who has personal knowledge of the challenges that face military families. Her parents met during the Korean War. Her father, who was in the military, was an escort to a fallen soldier. As he was bringing the body home, he met her mother, who was the fallen soldier’s sister. Other team members’ lives are touched by the military family dynamic. “It’s so interwoven in the team and the
people we serve,” said Brenda, who uses that knowledge and understanding to better serve her military clients. Her son and team member Austin Wade said their goal is to take some of the stress out of a military move, where families don’t have much flexibility in moving timelines. Austin worked with a family recently who was being moved across the country and needed to sell their house quickly, but not too quickly. If they closed too soon, they would be forced to live in military housing or in a hotel until their move date. “We sold their home and scheduled closing three days after their move date,” he said. “It brings me pleasure to serve them in this small way because these families are so sacrificing and go where the government tells them and stand up to the challenge of protecting our country.” Brenda and her team bring that level of empathy to all of their clients. Whether looking for a place to raise a family, a luxury estate, golf-course community, new home, condos, townhouses, or waterfront property, Brenda and her team’s expertise in the Tampa Bay market will ensure buyers find their dream home. Home sellers can trust her team to deliver the personal attention and quality of service during what can be a significant and demanding decision. “Our clients can expect a professional partner who listens, communicates honestly and advises them with their best interests at the forefront,” said Brenda. Tampa Bay Readies For 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season With Practices, Events By Tamas Mondovics Each May, ahead of the upcoming hurricane season, (June 1 through November 30) Tampa Bay area residents get a boost in hurricane awareness with one simple underlying message, “It only takes one storm to change your life and community.” The above warning, which highlights the destructive nature of tropical cyclones and the need to be prepared, is as serious as ever. Florida has been spared of a serious hurricane related weather event for more than a decade. Some members of the local, regional and state emergency agencies are yet to experience the effects of a dangerous storm from start to finish. To make sure the next weather event does not catch anyone by surprise, Hillsborough County officials arranged for a number of events during Hurricane Awareness Week (May 15-21) to help prepare for the season, including the first on the roster, the annual Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo held each year at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). The event drew hundreds of residents and answered visitors’ questions, and also shared the expertise of meteorologists from Tampa Bay area TV station and the National Weather Service, as well as local disaster response experts.

The scenario focused on events and actions prior to landfall, including evacuations. While Cook was pleased with how the test went and the way everyone responded, he has acknowledged that the real test of readiness is yet to come. “We prepare the same way no matter what,” Cook said As part of the annual hurricane exercise, Hillsborough County Office of Emergency Management director Preston D. Wimauma Elementary Employee Reunion Seeks Former Employees
By Amy Schechter
Wimauma Elementary is seeking former and current staff to meet up quarterly for fellowship.
Wimauma Elementary has been a staple of Southeastern Hillsborough County since its opening in 1925 when it originally housed grades Kindergarten through twelfth. Over its many years, the staff and the grade level of students it serves has changed, but one thing remained constant: Its family atmosphere. That is why a little over three years ago, retired educator, Emma Thomas, decided to organize a quarterly meet-up for former staff, and the group, growing in numbers, is looking for more members. Thomas states, “Wimauma has been a school that is so close. It is so family-oriented.” She hopes to reach anyone who once taught or worked at Wimauma Elementary and is now retired. The group welcomes former educators, administrators, custodial staff, cafeteria staff, and office staff to meet quarterly for fun, food, and fellowship.
In March, the group met at The Shrimp Boat in Brandon. It boasts members who began their careers at Wimauma in every decade since the 1960s, whether it’s those who spent their entire professions there or those who were there for a short time. “You just feel so warm to see them,” Thomas added, and she knows there are others still living in the Tampa community who would benefit from the friendships they forged during their time at Wimauma. The group meets at 12 Noon on Monday, June 6 at Circles Waterfront Restaurant located at 1212 Apollo Beach Blvd. in Apollo Beach, but if that is too short notice, Thomas urges individuals to reach out before their next outing. Anyone interested in more information or joining the group may contact Emma at 293-1780 or lady1uniqu@aol.com. She is assisted by Sharon Prevatt and Joyce Cecchi.

Ending the 2015-2016 school year, thousands of students representing 28 high schools throughout Hillsborough County had a chance to celebrate one the most important days of their young lives; graduation. Included during each graduation ceremony, or as some call it degree day, commencement, or invocation, is the traditional valedictorian and salutatorian speeches delivered by exemplary seniors who stood out from the rest of their classmates due to their personal achievements. The often emotionally charged events held around the country at the end of May and early June is a time to say goodbye as students, teachers and parents reflect on memories, some of which will be cherished forever, while others many would rather forget. This year, once again graduation ceremonies were scheduled to held at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall. For a full list of the 2016 graduations, visit www.sdhc.k12.fl.us.

District Annual Fresh Flavors Food Tasting Expo & Donation Of Weather Radios District Hosts 7th Annual Fresh Flavors Student Food Tasting Expo
The Hillsborough County Public Schools Student Nutrition Services Department hosted its 7th annual Fresh Flavors - Food for Body and Mind Expo earlier this month at TPepin’s Hospitality Centre in Tampa. Approximately 200 students from around the district had a chance to taste and rate new menu items for the 20162017 school year menu. “We had every grade level represented by the students who were ready to test the various potential future menu items,” said Tanya Arja with the district communications office. “Twenty-one new menu items were tested, including Gyro Flatbread Sandwich, Funfetti Quinoa Salad, and a Chicken & Pesto Piada.” During the event, students were to rate each item on a scale of Love It, Like It, or Dislike It based on the item’s appearance, smell, and taste. “The purpose of the tasting is to help Student Nutrition Services provide healthy menus that are based on student preferences,” Arja said. This year a group of parents were also invited to be taste testers and participate in a question and answer session

about school meal initiatives with Student Nutrition Services General Manager Dr. Mary Kate Harrison. At the end each student received a goodie bag and had a chance to win a Fitbit fitness tracker. Student Nutrition Services operates as a self-supporting, $125 million dollar enterprise. Each day, close to 1,400 employees serve more than 214,000

Cannella Elementary School Receives Weather Radio Donation Appropriate for the start of the 2016 atlantic hurricane season, Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) received a large donation weather radios from
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and the Office of Emergency Management. To be exact, 270 weather radios were delivered to Cannella Elementary School located at 10707 Nixon Rd. in Tampa. School Principal Rhonda McMahon, along with some of her fourth grade students, accepted the donation on behalf of Hillsborough County Public Schools just in time for the start of the 2016 Atlantic hurricane season. Pleased with the support, district officials said that the donation will ensure that staff at every school in the district has the ability to hear vital, life-saving information from the National Weather Service and to take action if necessary. “The safety of our students is our top priority and we are grateful for this donation from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and Office of Emergency Management,” stated HCPS External Communications Manager, Tanya Arja, in a recent press release announcing the donation. There are more than 212,000 students in Hillsborough County Public Schools and more than 26,000 employees. The donation of the all-hazards alert weather radios will be a vital component to ensure the safety of students and staff. The hurricane season started June 1.

Mosaic’s Streamsong Offers Secluded Getaway Close To Home Nestled amongst the natural terrain of the seemingly untouched Central Florida wilds lies a surprise slice of award-winning golfer’s paradise nestled amongst 16,000 acres of reclaimed Mosaic property, called Streamsong. The Resort, a new 216-room, resort and spa with world class accommodations and two of the top golf courses in the state, was also the host of the 2016 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball tournament hosted by the USGA in May. Streamsong is described as a retreat that is the ultimate escape for relaxation, enrichment and rejuvenation and is developed by The Mosaic Company— the world’s leading producer and marketer of phosphate-based crop nutrients. Recognized the world over as an innovator in its field, Mosaic embraces its mission of helping the world grow the food it needs. With more than 280,000 acres under direct ownership, Mosaic is also one of Florida’s largest landowners, and has owned Streamsong’s 16,000 acres of land in Polk County for more than 50 years. In keeping with its commitment to land stewardship, Mosaic has reclaimed many of its former mining areas for public recreational or environmental uses. Golf is a major attraction for many Streamsong guests. The resort can host small intimate groups and world-class tournaments, events, and outings with PGA-certified staff, and can handle up to 300 golfers. According to Bohmer de Garcia, the resort also offers much for the non-golfer, including guided bass fishing excursions, sporting clays and archery, walking trails,

The spa includes many different services like therapeutic water treatments with unique pool experiences and a relaxation water treatment and treatment rooms dedicated to personalized services like massages and facials. Services also include pedicures, manicures, and hair. “The resort also features a lakeside infinity pool, hiking trail, and tennis courts as well as special seasonal dining events like bourbon pairing dinners,” said Bohmer de Garcia, “Non-golfers will not be bored at Streamsong.” Businesses are offered space for meetings and the resort offers space for events ranging from business to wedding. The resort also offers beautiful and modern accommodations for guests that include suites and guestrooms in the Lodge and Clubhouse. Four dining options are offered at Restaurant Fifty-Nine, Sotto Terra, P2O5, and Fragmentary Blue, a top floor restaurant with resort overlook patio. All restaurants are overseen by Executive Chef Michael Ford with four other chefs to run each restaurant and add their own flair to different food items they serve. “Guests know they can truly relax at Streamsong and that our team will go out of their way to make sure they get the most out of their time with us,” said Bohmer de Garcia. Osprey Observer Journalist Uncovers Grandfather’s Magical Photos
By Kelly Wise Valdes
My grandfather, Chet Wise, was a master craftsman/woodworker that handcrafted many of the architectural details during the construction of the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. He was a patient perfectionist and meticulous in his craftsmanship. Apparently, Walt Disney had been very particular in the details of everything in the original Disneyland Park in California, and although he had already passed away prior to the Magic Kingdom opening, the legacy continued. My grandfather passed away several years ago, and my grandmother passed away three years ago. I ended up with a small box of her miscellaneous personal items, which I put in my spare hall closet when I got home. Fast-forward three years. When packing to move, I came across the small, unremarkable box. I opened it up and took note of some vintage Disney memorabilia, which wasn’t particularly unusual because both my grandparents worked and retired from Disney. I noticed in the bottom of the box a small, brown leather photo album. I opened it up and from first glance I saw some faded photos of what looked like a construction site. I realized that these were my grandfather’s photos of the Magic Kingdom, circa 1969, while under construction. Many of the pictures were taken high atop scaffolding.
Going Viral
I posted a single picture to my
Facebook page, and surprised at the response from my friends, I picked out 13 more pictures and scanned them to post. Next thing I know, my grandfather’s pictures were being shared over and over, by people I didn’t know, literally across the entire globe. I started receiving hundreds and hundreds of emails. I was asked to be on podcast, and called by many media outlets. CNN asked to do a feature profile on the pictures. People were fascinated. I
was fascinated on why all the fascination. Apparently I found out what “going viral actually meant. I called my father to discuss his dad’s pictures, but he didn’t know about them. I asked my sister and she had never seen them. I’m not certain anyone had ever seen these pictures except for my grandparents who put them in the album, never to be seen again. Until now. I believe that many of these pictures were specific to the architectural things he personally worked on. I remember him telling us that he crafted the detailed and intricate woodwork around the windows in the train station at the front of the park. He also did all the elaborate woodworking for windows on Main Street, Cinderella’s Castle and Pinocchio’s Village. My cousin remembers him saying he crafted the amazing door at the Liberty Tavern.
Candid ShotÂ
I’ve started researching and formulating what was happening and why these particular photos went viral. I believe I’ve come to a reasonable explanation why so many people have been fascinated by them. Apparently there are many stock photos that were staged and released by
Disney that depict the construction during that time period. But, seemingly there may not be a great deal of amateur, candid photographs during this stage. My father and I speculated that we weren’t even sure that the construction crews were allowed to take pictures. But, my grandfather was a little mischievous. If you think of the logistics, it wouldn’t be easy. In 1971, people didn’t have small cell phone cameras. My grandfather had a large, heavy 35 millimeter camera and he was working high on scaffolding. Some of his pictures from up high show the vastness of the whole construction site. One of the random pictures looks like it was taken from an airplane.
Disney Life
My grandfather worked for Disney until he retired. Although thousands of construction workers were there during the Magic Kingdom construction, when the park was completed, the jobs were done. However, Disney kept a small handful of these master craftsmen and made them full-time Disney employees, and my grandfather was one of the chosen few. My grandmother, Betty Wise, also worked at the Magic Kingdom since before it opened and was one of the executive administrative assistants who helped set up the executive offices. My grandparents worked there until their retirement in the mid 80s. They were active Disney retirees, belonging to the “Golden Ears Club. View the full article on our website, OspreyObserver.com, along with more photos.

One In Five Motorists Do Not Wear A Seat Belt
Staff Report
In 2014, 21,022 motor vehicle passengers lost their lives. Tragically some of these deaths could have been prevented if the passenger had been wearing a seat belt. Seat belts save lives. Yet, AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety research found nearly on in five drivers report having driven without wearing their seat belt in the past 30 days; nearly one-fifth report doing this more than once, and more than 1 in 20 report driving without a seat belt fairly often or regularly. This behavior happens despite the fact that most drivers (88.2 percent) view it as unacceptable to drive without wearing a seat belt, and more than four in five (81.9 percent) say that they never do. The “do as I say, not as I do,” behavior is all too common when it comes to traffic safety. Seat belt use has been increasing nationwide (87 percent), but there remains a wide gap (9 percent) between front seat belt use and rear seat belt use. Rear seat passengers are three times more likely to die in a crash if they are unbuckled, according to a report from the Governors Highway Safety Association. Currently 28 states have seat belt laws covering all passengers.
Florida is not one of those states. In fact, Florida ranks second in the nation in unrestrained passenger fatalities, according to a report by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). “Unfortunately many passengers will not change their behavior unless there is a legal consequence,” said Karen Morgan, Public Policy Manager, The Auto Club Group (AAA). “Because of this attitude, the easiest and most cost effective way to save lives and prevent injuries is to improve the current seat belt law to cover all vehicle occupants.” Nationally, seat belt use by adult rear seat passengers is only 78 percent, compared to 87 percent for the front seat passenger. The discrepancy is even more pronounced in motor vehicle crashes involving a fatality: 60 percent rear belt use versus 74 front belt use. It is estimated from 1975 to 2014 seat belts have saved 330,507 lives nationwide. If all passengers had worn a seat belt during those years, a total of 709,489, or an additional 378,983 lives could have been saved, according to NHTSA. Visit bit.ly/1XEIBLM for the full Traffic Safety Culture Index report from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

Canine Cabana recently launched a new Fit Paws program to help dogs reach and maintain a healthy weight.
New diet and fitness programs are often trending for humans, but what about canines? Angie Frazier and Kendall Duncan, co-owners of Canine Cabana, a local doggie daycare company, made sure dogs wouldn’t be left out, especially since 58 percent of the nation’s pets are overweight. “The physical and mental health of all dogs is just as important as our own. We want all dogs to be in the best overall health so they can live happy, healthy and long lives,” Frazier continues. The Fit Paws program is full of safe and fun exercises that tackle the extra “fluff” on each pooch. Over the course of 20 days, a personal, certified trainer will portion out meals and treats as well as create customized mental and physical exercises
catered to each pet’s individual ability and endurance, allowing for an overall healthier lifestyle. The program also includes daycare, which means dogs can enjoy socializing and playing in addition to shedding some pounds. Each week, the trainer holds consultations with each dog’s owner to discuss challenges and progress. Frazier and Duncan met at Busch Gardens where they served as zookeepers in 1997. Eight years ago, they collaborated to create Canine Cabana, a dog lodging, daycare, grooming and personalized training facility. With over 20 team members, “We are experts in our field. Our team is thoroughly trained in dog language, behavior and animal care, as well as CPR and First Aid. We have constant supervision of all activities and keep the highest staff to dog ratios of any facility,” explains Frazier. Canine Cabana is also open for drop off and pick up seven days a week with full staff, hours and activities each day. For reservations or a free consultation, or for more information, call 6729663 or visit www.caninecabana.biz or www.facebook.com/caninecabanafl/. Canine Cabana is located at 9708 Carr Rd. in Riverview.

“Lost 31.5 pounds, Size 8 to “0” As a mother of 2 and business owner, I felt as if I had tried everything humanly possible to get in the best shape for my health and overall well-being with the time and resources I had available to me. I had been dedicated to cardio exercise and strength building for years, but was not seeing the results I thought I should be seeing. I decided it was time to go AFTER to the experts.” “I looked at a couple of possibilities, and determined that if I wanted the best results, I needed to go to a proven source of expertise. I had seen RobZ Fitness testimonials and heard about the results and after doing some research on what I should expect and gathering a great deal of courage, I decided to walk in their door. I found RobZ staff to be very welcoming, encouraging and knowledgeable. As hard as I had tried all these years, many of the exercises were incorrect in technique, not enough weight, or just simply not pushing beyond what I thought I was capable of doing.” “The results were fast and furious- I was amazed at how simple the theory of exercise and healthy eating really was, and although not one for pressing myself in the area of physical fitness, I found the benefits FAR outweigh the sweat equity.” “Not only did I surprisingly drop 31.5 lbs of body fat and a BEFORE 14.1% body fat change the first three months (a welcome plus), but lost 19 total inches (6.5” waist and 4” thigh, etc.) and was seeing visible sculpting. I had walked in hoping to tone up, which I did, but found so much more. Rob mentioned at the beginning I was in better shape than 20% of women my age and now I am in better shape than 91% of women. I suffered from migraines since adolescence and being on RobZ plan, I did not have one migraine- which to me, was nothing short of a miracle. The trainers helped me to understand the dynamics behind balancing food intake and how this affected the chemical balance in my system. Maurica, my trainer, was fun and encouraging. I had never looked forward to working out the way I have while working at RobZ with Maurica. The workouts turned out to be the biggest stress relief of my life and the education I received will follow me and motivate me for a lifetime. My only regret is that I did not walk into RobZ sooner! Thanks to generous support from USAA, active-duty members of the United States military and their families will be able to visit Tampa’s Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) for free all summer. Current service members with ID and up to five family members will be able to explore MOSI’s more than 450 hands-on permanent exhibits for free through the end of Labor Day weekend on Monday, September 5. For the third year in a row, the military discounts are made possible by a partnership with USAA, a financial services and insurance company that serves current and former members of the U.S. military and their families. USAA’s presence in Tampa continues to grow, with a new facility added in January 2016 and 400 jobs created in the Tampa Bay Area since 2013. MOSI joins more than 2,000 participants in the Blue Star Museums program, which is a collaboration of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America.

Hillsborough County’s Emergency Management Program Ranks Among Best In U.S. The independent Emergency Management Accreditation Program
(EMAP) has announced that Hillsborough County’s emergency management program has achieved full accreditation. The designation, the highest achievement in the emergency preparedness industry, is made even more notable in that the County received a perfect score at the end of the year-long assessment process. The process involved nearly every county department, as well as the many other public, private, nonprofit and volunteer organizations that partner with the county to carry out disaster preparedness, response and recovery efforts. The review included 64 standards, and evaluated compliance with requirements in 16 areas, including planning; resource management, training, communications and warning, and administration. The assessors singled out several elements as model practices to be shared with other emergency management programs nationwide. These include a program through which County employees are preassigned to roles in which they would help residents during disaster recovery, and formal plans for how the County would continue to provide services if major facilities aren’t operable. The County’s Office of Emergency Management, a division of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, coordinated the accreditation application. For valuable information to prepare for, stay safe during, and recover from a disaster, visit HillsboroughCounty.org/Emergency.

History Center Exhibit Celebrates Legacy Of Little Golden Books The newest exhibit at the Tampa Bay History Center (History Center) celebrates the legacy of Little Golden Books. The exhibit features original artwork from the beloved children’s books. The exhibit is available for viewing now through Sunday, August 14. Little Golden Books was launched in 1942. This was the first full year of America’s involvement in the Second World War. Little Golden Books made high quality illustrated books available at affordable prices for the first time to millions of young children and their parents. So whether it is Poky Little Puppy sneaking off to play or Scuffy The Tug Boat sailing down the river, there is a good chance that Little Golden Books were a part of your childhood. “We all remember growing up with Little Golden Books, and we thought this exhibit would be a fun multi-generational exhibit,” said Manny Leto, director of marketing for the History Center. “We try to plan a diverse annual exhibit schedule, covering all sorts of different topics and subject matter.” The exhibit is on the third floor of the
