Tinieblas is a lamp to be place next to the house’s fuse box. Time to time a blackout happens to occur. However, when it does happen hardly ever there is not a torch or matches nearby. This project is aimed to solved that problem by offering a system that does not require the sight to be used, to turn it on. The inner system is designed to facilitate a more natural and intuitive interaction. The batteries move along a track in the handheld stick. When the user rotates the torch the batteries drop closing the electrical system and turning the light on.

Apple packaging for vending machines
Project based on a new Spanish law to fight children obesity. Some regional governments decided to promote healthier habits in the context of educational centres. The law planned to remove snacks and buns from the vending machines. Instead, fruits would be placed at the selling points. However, owing the lack of adaptation of the fruits’ packaging to the current spiral vending machines, the measure resulted in a failure. The objective is to design a standardized pack that protects, shows and delivers the apple to the consumer preserving its quality. Avoiding bumps, scars, creases and bruises.
Important aspects of the design: Easy and comfortable apple’s extraction from the packaging Low cost of material, manufacture and transportation
