Newsletter The Boutique District sends weekly email newsletters to nearly 6,000 subscribers. We average a 19.3% open rate, a couple points above the retail average of 17%. We also feature a banner ad in the newsletter that is included as a sponsor benefit. Banner ads link directly to your webpage, event listing, social media page— pretty much anywhere you are hosting content.

Website The Boutique District website receives approximately 30,700 visitors a year, with 62,700 page views. 91% of our visitors are U.S. based, with a quarter of those visitors from Alexandria. Boutique District sponsors get a logo or ad included in a homepage slider. 34% of our web traffic lands on our homepage. Sponsors also get logo recognition on our Supporters page. We publish 1-3 blogs per week, with 16% of our page views going to blog posts. as a supporter, you have the opportunity to be featured in dedicated blog posts, as well list events on our calendar.

Social Media The Boutique District is active on all major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. On Facebook, we have 4,772 followers, average 59 new likes a month, and average a reach of 856 for each post, and 358,238 impressions per year. On Twitter, we have 3,250 followers, average 81 new followers a month, and 861 link clicks a year. Our Facebook and Twitter followers are approximately 79% female, and 75% are between the ages of 25-44. Our followers on Instagram have grown by 50% in 2015. We currently have just over 1,300 followers who are engaged in all things Alexandria.

in Print The Boutique District prints a brochure that includes a store directory and map. 10,000 brochures are distributed from member stores, partner locations, the Visitors Center, and hotel concierges. Sponsors get logo recognition and map location in the brochure. We send at least one direct mail campaign to thousands of local households. We also print event posters that are visible at member stores throughout Old Town. Sponsors receive logo recognition in these campaigns and materials.
