A trio of Australian producers managed to occupy an impressive niche among electronic artists in 2013. Then their first album “Atlas” was triumphantly released having reached the top position in Aria Charts with the help of lively singles “Desert Nights”, “Take Me” and “Sundream”. No wonder that later these guys became one of the most successful “products” of the musical export.

And you feel exhausted and feel like going to bed, but a painful strive for getting to know the mystery of the next dark night doesn’t let you leave for the clear light emptiness of a dream.

photo Alexander is inspired by everything around him – the whole world is the theatre, the theatre of life and images. No matter what their gender is, people inspire him. He makes famous stars from those ones who are absolutely usual and real masterpieces from simple shots! His moto is Ars longa, Vita brevis – life is short, however, Art is eternal, so let’s turn our life into the Art!!! The master also likes working with models, especially with actors. “It’s very easy to work with them, they add additional charm to photographs, they put their heart and soul into a project and sometimes the change the idea beyond recognition and that’s very interesting!” Alexander grew up with French films and he’s crazy about French Art and Photography – each scene there is a real theatre, each French photo is a LIFE in miniature. Caravaggio, one Italian artist, who impressed Alexander with his game of light and shade and colors, had a special effect on him. Alexander Spirin comes of a family of Moscovian photographers. The Art of Photography for him is his grandfather and father’s inheritance. His grandfather used to take pictures using an old Agfa 1941 (which Sasha was playing with as if it was a spaceship) whereas his father used to use the Zenit camera. That was him who shared all his knowledge with little Alexander, who really started going in for photography only at the age of 16 when studying at the institute. Having bought a professional camera he was practicing in taking pictures of his friends and acquaintances until he learnt to photograph in different conditions and developed his own artistic style of shooting and processing of shots which is still evolving…

Sasha is quite a multifaceted photographer. Just recently he’s taken a great interest in object and architecture photography as well as inside photography. “The development is inside us – the most important thing is to follow the breath of your spirit and not to change your feelings!” It’s been so kind of Alexander to share his photoset “Mister X” with our magazine. Its idea is to show man’s simple beauty, “the way I see him; I wanted to express my opinion on that guy. Because everyone sees the blue sky in different ways...!!! And I’ve done it! In my own way!”

traveling This Monday morning the weather was wonderful for hitchhiking: it was quite sunny and not so very hot yet. However, the suburbs of Volgograd with their half-deserted sceneries far away from The Volga made us feel a bit depressed: there was sand everywhere and half-burnt plants craving for the moisture. We were lucky to have enough water with us because we understood that it would take us a lot of time until we reached Rostov and it was quite possible that we’d need more than one day to get to our destination.

The first twenty minutes of hitchhiking weren’t lucky at all, but then a Devyatka driven by a man with a gloomy look stopped near us, but when did it stop us? As usual, I was waiting for the driver to start the conversation, because things happen, you know, although hitchhikers are usually welcomed to make the journey not so boring to be exact. By the way, I’ve just remembered while writing as one day long before this journey I gave a lift to some hitchhikers on the way to Tomsk. It wasn’t much fun at all: a guy with his girlfriend settled themselves on the back seat and had a talk only to each other and more than that they had such a fetid smell that the best way out of that situation was the open window and the music turned on louder. Sorry for my being driven away.

Hi! The topic for discussion in today’s article is probably one of the most important ones in the way of creation of your own style and an ability to get dressed properly. You can buy the most expensive jacket, tie, shirt made by famous designer brands which will look perfect on their own but won’t have the necessary effect when they are combined with each other. Moreover, you are at risk to create an impersonal look at the best and a repulsive and unpleasant one at the worst if you don’t care about the number of colors used at the same time and about the way colors match with each other and in what proportions they are used. Being able to combine colors in clothes is a kind of art, but it isn’t so difficult for an ordinary person who’ll make some effort in learning the way how to do it.

Mitya Nevsky is a photographer of a great talent, we’ve already decorated the covers of our magazine with his works more than once and today we’ve decided to get you acquainted with him more closely. We got to know Mitya in a far 2012, when his career of a photographer was just starting. However, we could already feel not only a potential in his works then, but his works were also more or less on the same level as famous photographers’ ones who have got the world name. More than three years have already passed since then and Mitya has grown up both as a personality and a professional within this period; he’s created his own style, but at the same time he continues developing and improving himself that inspires me, personally, a lot!

The photo work was based on a well-known story about Spartacus who was a leader in a major slave uprising which became a definite milestone in the World History. I don’t want to go into historical details, but I’m greatly impressed by the rapid fall of the Roman Empire after that rebellion. Political intrigues, sexual deviations, greediness, an abundance of vice and filth where no one values person’s life, the rich considering themselves to be Gods, injustice and cruelty led to the fall of one of the most powerful Empires of all within mankind’s history. And here’s one thing that automatically comes to your mind. That world in the photo looks practically the same as ours nowadays; maybe, not in such a rude, but idealized manner, and rather in a more unnatural and less noticeable behind the daily routine of weekdays way.
