When Benjamin Moore introduced Aegean Teal as its paint colour of the year for 2021 it was widely accepted as a shade that addresses the need for a serene home environment.

Trends usually speak to the world at large, and any number of things can play into that. Right now a unified call for peace is felt globally. Green has always played a leading role on the design scene as a colour that breathes life into space. This muted sage is a reflection of the earthy tones that are making their presence known in the style world.

The shade is so easy to live with that it will work in principal rooms including bedrooms and bathrooms. Pair it with neutrals and add hints of plum or pink along with textured accent patterns to create a stylish look throughout. Brass fixtures are the ideal metal to bring a richness to the look that leans a little more towards the classic rather than the contemporary side of décor style.
