Spicy Pulled from the earth or maybe the spice drawer? The trend towards a muted shade of red is popping up everywhere from footwear to tiles. The tint brings out all the best qualities found in the colour red with a blend of masculine and feminine assets to appeal to the masses. In the world of home décor, the shade pairs perfectly with light wood tones and creamy accents for a soothing palette influenced by nature. Add bits of sage green for even more depth. Designer Tanya Collins popped the tone throughout this year’s Minto CHEO Lottery Dream Home. The powder room features a white marble vessel sink carved by John Schweighardt.
