Director’s Notes Welcome! These are exciting times for dance at Otterbein College and, as you read this, you now become a part of that excitement. Our students are growing in numbers, diversity, and talent. The dance faculty currently consists of ten outstanding teachers with expertise in a broad range of techniques and styles. Our recent graduates are working professionally in a number of venues, including Dan Knechtges, assisant choreographer for the current Broadway hit, Seussical. Dan choreographed and directed the 2000 Dance Concert version of Damn Yankees and provided our students and audience with an evening of terrifc theatrical dance. The program you are about to see is refelective of all of this - wonderful students performing a range of diverse, interesting pieces that reflect the broad range of training in the Otterbein program. There are many stories to tell and many ways to tell them, so sit back, relax, and ask yourself that all important question, “What’s Behind that Curtain?” Enjoy! -Stella Hiatt Kane
