The Graduate,

its characters, phrases, and themes, continue to ring true a half decade after the publication of the novel. Whether seen on film or stage, or read, The Graduate has been a touchstone for generationsrepresenting the universal feelings of rebellion, confusion, frustration, love, and redemption — so honestly, and hilariously, embodied by the characters of Mrs. Robinson, Benjamin Braddock, Elaine, and the rest. Still today, fifty years after The Graduate, we all continue to ask the same question … what does the future hold?

SOMETHING’S COMING,SOMETHINGGOODº M ore than fifty years ago one musical changed theater forever. Now it’s back and mesmerizing audiences once again. From the first note to the final breath, West Side Story soars as the greatest love story of all time. This revival, based on Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents’ Broadway direction, remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The Bernstein and Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway’s finest and features such classics of the American musical theatre as “Something’s Coming,” “Tonight,” “America,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.” As the Associated Press says, “West Side Story remains Broadway’s best dance-driven musical. Five decades have not dimmed the extraordinary choreography or the score that pulsates throughout.”

“Reach high, for the stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.” - Pamela Vaull Starr

As was the case in the late 1920s, we are reaching out to students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff, townspeople, corporations and foundations to be part of supporting Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium and its ongoing programming, a building and series that has served as our community’s gathering place for many decades.

reak of Reality has been applauded for their “genuine technique”, and their ability to “rock out like they mean it.” (Time Out New York). The band is filling concert venues around the country with fans eager to hear their original music, as well as interpretations of music by Tool, Metallica, and System of a Down. Their sound is cinematic, subdued and heavy all at once, and their live audiences are equally diverse; fans of Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, and Yo-Yo Ma are finally getting acquainted.

Their songs go from 0 to 60 in a split second, turning on a dime to take you from a quiet chamber recital to a thundering arena rock concert: Fans of both Nine Inch Nails and Kronos Quartet will be pleased. - New York Press
