Oumarou TRAORE

Artist painter, Graphic Designer and Art Director for Calabash' Art Studio Gallery in France, Oumarou TRAORE (Oumshat) is french origin from Ivory Coast, west Africa. Oumarou's creations are inspired by the african calabash, natural vegetable rapphia and mixed-media artwork. However, his works are not only limited to a simple representation of an object but go beyond that. They express a great need for emotional balance where the imaginary sweaps the beholder away into a universe where symbol and myth become perceptible.
