Long /e/ phoneme

Remember that a suffix is a letter or group of letters that go at the end of a word to make a new word. The suffixes -s and -es can tell us something is happening now. 1

Use the rules and base words to complete these sentences using words with the suffixes -s and -es. Then make up your own sentence using the same rule.
