To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1 Alpha February 16, 1977

A Time to be Born: Harry Williams, IV was born on February 16, 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana to proud parents Harry Williams, III and Janet S. Williams. He was raised in a loving, Christian home by Janet and Larry Williams. A Time to Grow: Harry was a native of Marrero, LA. He attended United Pentecostal Church Academy, and finished his educational training in the Jefferson Parish Public Schools. He graduated from John Ehret High School in May of 1997. He was employed at Schwegman Supermarket as a seafood associate, and Aramark Catering Services at the New Orleans Superdome. A Time to Serve: Staff Sergeant Harry Williams, IV enlisted his service in the United States Army on August 27, 1997, where he served honorably for over 16 years. During these years he was given the privilege to tour, Albania, Kosovo, Sinai Egypt, Germany, and Iraq/Afghanistan. A Time to Love: While being stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he met and married the love of his life, Tanya A. Brinson of Spring Lake, NC. From this union three children were born; one daughter, Almonyse Troi Sayon; two sons, Ahsai Saveiyon and Andwele’ S’davion Je’Saiyon Williams. A Time for All Things: On September 30, 2014, Harry exchanged his pain and labor and all earthly responsibilities to enter into eternal rest that God has prepared for us. A Time to Celebrate: Throughout his life Harry professed and acknowledged that Jesus is Lord, but it wasn’t until November, 2013, that he whole heartedly committed his life to Christ as his Lord and Savior. He came to recognize the importance of a Christ-centered life; praying always, studying the bible and giving God all of the praise. A Time to Build: Harry was an exceptional provider for his family; and a loving and caring husband and father. For the last twelve months of his life, he would always express how glad he was to be home to help his wife with the teaching and training of their children. To be back home with his family made him the happiest… his family was always number one to him.
Remembrance SSG Harry Williams, IV leaves to cherish and celebrate his life, love, legacy and his awesome personality: his beloved and devoted wife of 14 years, Tanya B. Williams; his daughter, Almonyse Troi; his sons, Ahsai, and Andwele’ Williams; his loving and caring parents, Harry (Sherise) Williams, III and Janet and Larry Williams of Princeton, Texas; one brother, Ryan Williams; three sisters, Kimberly and Crystal Williams and Candace Williams-Wilson; a brother in-law, Kedric Wilson, all of Dallas, TX; three nieces, Kia Ernest, Ariah and Trinity Williams; one nephew, Gary Ernest; a caring and dear mother in law, Cathy Brinson of Spring Lake NC; seven aunts, Delores Owens, Virginia S. ~ My First, My Last, My Everything ~
April 29, 2000 – September 30, 2014 Love, Tanyannette
To Our Daddy Some things will always be in style Good solid things like honesty, and trust and caring about people. It is qualities like these that keep us aware of who we are And what we can give to life. It is qualities like these, Daddy, that you’ve taught us to value. Through your influence, your example, and your love. It has made us love you very much, And has made us very proud to have you for our daddy With Love, Troi, Ahsai, & Andewele’’
A Mama’s Tribute It seems like it was just a few short years we were able to share a mother and son love. You will forever live in my heart my son, my first born, my miracle child. By God’s bountiful blessings and His kindness and faith in His name you were conceived. Only God can measure the love I have for you in my heart. For your unfeigned love for me as your mother, I will always and forever embrace your presence. You have grown into a man of great knowledge, wisdom and skill…. because of this, it has flowed down to all your siblings, even to me. Son, you know how much I depended on you, for almost everything, computer knowledge, your views on certain issues, and even some techniques with cooking. While you were here, I knew I could always call on, “My Harry”. You would often tell me of how grateful you were because of the way I raised you; and how that I stayed firm on not letting you hang out with the wrong guys and do your thing. You were never ashamed of the family’s faith and principles in how we served God. Thank you for honoring me as a God fearing woman. You showered me with every gift my heart desired. Your humorous personality has given me so many wonderful memories. These last days that we were able to pray together and exhort one another in the word of God have become my joy and my strength. You will never be forgotten. I will miss you dearly and love you always - but God’s love is best, “Mama”.
Words from the Siblings We are bonded closer than siblings. We are physical extensions of each other’s souls. If our love could have kept you with us, you would have out-lived us all. But God’s love is greater and eternal. Mom and dad taught us from an early age to always trust in the Lord. Harry, your strength and honor unto God, even in your last hour, will be our guide in dealing with your passing. Your love strikes courage in our backbones and strengthens our hearts. A life set apart, we see that is what you are. Harry, we thank you for being our big brother, our leader, our friend, our support. Although you are gone from this world, you will live forever in our hearts. We will remember the times we were sad and how you made us laugh or the times we were afraid and you assured us that everything would be okay. Harry, we will love you unfailingly all the days of our lives. “Heavenly Father, thank you for our brother’s life and love, thank you for the many miracles and mercies you have given to us. Amen.” – Kim, Crystal, Ryan and Candace
CAREER ACCOLADES
A Father’s Prayer for His Son Lord, Thank you for blessing me with such a Son. For I’ve not known the prayer to recite, but Father you knew the man in which to create. For that Heavenly Father I am grateful. Lord, thank you for the son I called 10 times a day and he ALWAYS made time for me. For my son, who when he got the call that I was sick, arrived immediately and STAYED by my bedside. My son, that WHATEVER I needed monetarily, never turned me away but always had my back. My son, who on our last visit was still thinking of me when he said, “Dad, what do you need?” My son who, even at the very end, never told me the extent of his illness because he worried about me worrying. I’m HONORED to call YOU son, BLESSED to have as my best friend and a PROUD fellow soldier. Love Always and Unconditionally, Harry Williams III
