Robert Louis Diaz, IV OBITUARY Robert Louis Diaz, IV was the loving father of Callie and Robert Diaz, V and Amanda Patin; the grandfather of Kai Alexander, Brother of Kim (Ernest) Carrie; uncle of Evan Carrie; step-brother of Karen Diaz and the son of Robert & Gale Diaz. He was a devoted father and cherished his granddaughter & children. He also leaves behind a companion, Monica Paul; aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. Rob, also called “Brother,” lived for his children. He enjoyed attending car shows with his daughter Amanda and Ben, he picked up Callie from school every day and always bought baseball caps for his son Rob, V. This love was also lavished on his granddaughter Kai, for whom he kept Freeze Pops for those special times when she came to visit. Rob was an electrician and an avid garage sale shopper and just like his dad, kept lots of tools and stuff. He also loved to go fishing and loved to cook, but his favorite food was his mother’s crawfish bisque. He was always clean and well dressed and was a very particular person who always sent his jeans to the cleaners, and bought wrist watches of all kinds. Rob helped everyone and loved life and though he was a hard and dedicated worker, he was well known with lots of friends. He was a likeable person who always spoke his mind but was a man of his word as well as a loyal and true friend. Rob’s spirit lives in all of us and will be deeply missed and always loved by many.
