about us

A

drien is one of the most loving and caring people that I have ever met. She is a natural around children. She babysat as soon as she was old enough, and was a nanny for a few families during college.

We are truly best friends and love making each other laugh. We both enjoy music and love to have spontaneous dance parties at home, which mostly involve us looking ridiculous and laughing our butts off.

Before we even got married, we knew that we wanted to become parents through adoption; especially since Kevin’s sister Hanna was also adopted!

e enjoy traveling to tropical beaches and a new U.S. city each year. We are excited to share those adventures with a little one. On our weekends at home, we walk our dogs past the farmland nearby that has cows, goats, and chickens. We also have a boat that we love to take out on Lake Berryessa. We will be delighted to see the huge smile on our child’s face as he/she glides along on the water on that first tube run!

Adrien is a supervisor in a 911 center, which can be stressful at times, but she loves being able to get help to those who need it.

We both are able to share out long weekends together and are able to adjust our work schedules to fit the needs of our family.

Adrien looks forward to snuggling up to our little one each night and reading stories that she enjoyed as a child. I could not imagine raising a child with anyone else and I look forward to it more than anything.

e met at the age of 16 through a mutual friend and hit if off right away, and became friends. It wasn’t until we were 25 that we started dating and realized that we had much more than a great friendship. We got married in 2010 and had a beautiful ceremony with our close family and friends.

Adrien is so excited to share our traditions with a little one, like Eva, a friend’s daughter, & Adrien playing makeup Santa placing their stocking at the foot of their bed on Christmas morning and taking our child to the beach in Orange County where she spent summer days herself as a child.

meet kevin

K

evin is the funniest, kindest, and most honest and loyal person I know. He is always there to help out a friend in need and would do anything to make sure that those important to him are taken care of, which is why I know that he will be such an amazing father. Children are drawn to his warm and friendly attitude which he is quick to share by playing around with them and being a silly goofball. Kevin has such a huge heart; I’m reminded every time that he makes me laugh at how lucky we are to have such a good bond and solid relationship.

Kevin is a Police Officer (his dream job from the age of 5) and loves his job of protecting and serving the public. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his job; many of his coworkers look to him when they have questions or need a hand. Kevin plans on spending as much quality time as he can with our child on his long three and four day weekends. I’m truly lucky to have Kevin in my life and cannot wait to raise a child with him.

e have a big family and enjoy spending time with them as well as our friends, many who have kids that we adore.

Our parents live nearby and are so excited to become grandparents. Kevin’s mother, a nurse, has generously offered to babysit when we work, and Adrien’s mother, a preschool teacher, cannot wait to have her grandchild attend her school. Adrien also has a very large extended family that we get together with for an annual Easter picnic, making gingerbread houses at Christmas time, and celebrating birthdays.

our home &

community e live in a small town in Sonoma County called Cotati.

Our home backs up to a creek bed with a trail running alongside it. We have an open living room and kitchen area where we host family dinners.

We can’t wait to see our child sneaking their tidbits to Hank and Olive, our dogs, under the table.

Hank is a Gordon Setter and Olive is a yellow Labrador. They both love to cuddle.

Our neighborhood is charming and we have very friendly neighbors. There are a few parks within walking distance where we find kids always playing. Our close friends live just a block away and run a wonderful inhome daycare. We can’t wait to take our child to visit and play with other kids.
