This event provides valuable resources, information, programs, and services to seniors and their caregivers. The event is geared towards residents aged 55 and over, but anyone is welcome to attend. At the expo, attendees will have access to a wide range of vendors who provide the most up-to-date resources for seniors. These vendors include healthcare providers, financial institutions, and community organizations. There will be informative sessions, interactive exhibits, and opportunities to meet and connect with other seniors in the community. 9:30 am - 12:30 pm at the Coconut Creek Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road. Parkland Fishing Derby
The Youth Fishing Derby is back for 2022. Take the kids or grand kids over to the fishing pier at Pine Trails Park for an exciting, FREE competition is allowed on the shoreline of the lake as well as the pier, but please do not wade into the water. Nobody wants to catch an alligator! Participants must bring their own fishing tackle and entrants must be ages 3-12 years old. Check-in starts at 7:45 am and the event lasts from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. The City of Coral Springs will host an in-person celebration in honor of Juneteenth, Freedom Day; a day that symbolizes the abolition of slavery in the United States of America. Movie in the Park - “Lightyear”

The Amphitheater at Pine Trails Park will be transformed into an outdoor movie theatre for the playing of Pixar’s Lightyear. Join us as we transform the park into our own local movie theater with an 18-foot inflatable movie screen and delicious popcorn (limited supplies available). Caribbean Dance with Commissioner Nancy Metayer Bowen
‘Move with the Mayor’ is an interactive program to promote health, wellness, and a greater sense of community in Coral Springs. Stonewall Pride Wilton Manors
The Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival typically attracts 50,000 spectators and has a direct economic impact of more than $6 million dollars for the City of Wilton Manors, according to an independent study. Stonewall Pride celebrates the historic Stonewall Riots and the start of the LGBTQ+ human rights movement and how it has shaped our community. 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm in Downtown Wilton Manors.
