As a new school year approaches, we want to wish all Coral Springs students, teachers, and school staff a wonderful school year ahead. Coral Springs is home to some of the top-rated public, charter, and private schools, and we remain proud of the many accomplishments of the students and professionals who attend and work at our schools. They are true difference-makers in our community.

Residents: sip, savor, and save the date – the city’s first-ever Budget & Brews education series will take place during the last week of August. Residents are invited to join members of the Coral Springs Budget & Sustainability Department to enjoy specially blended coffees, teas, craft beers, and more at popular Coral Springs cafes and eateries. The goal is to interact with members of our Budget & Sustainability team who will be on-hand to answer questions and share details about our city’s budget process. These informative sessions are free, but the cost of food and drinks is an additional fee. A full list of dates, times and locations can be found at CoralSprings.gov/Brews.

Tickets are still available for the International Dinner Dance taking place on Saturday, August 26 at 7 p.m. at the Marriott Heron Bay (11775 Heron Bay Blvd.) The event is presented by Al Hendrickson Toyota. Highlighting a different country every year, the 2023 event will focus on Japanese culture, cuisine, and entertainment. The International Dinner Dance is hosted annually by the Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee. Tickets can be purchased at CoralSprings.gov/ DinnerDance.

As we continue to celebrate our 60th Anniversary, residents are encouraged to show their Coral Springs pride by purchasing limited-edition merchandise. One-of-a-kind items include vintage-style t-shirts, hats, mugs, shoe charms, and more are available while supplies last. More information, including the next opportunities to make a purchase, can be found at CoralSprings.gov/Merch.

The next Commission meetings will take place on Wednesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are aired on CityTV, Blue Stream Channels 25, 25.7, 725 and on AT&T U-Verse channel 99. Meetings are also live-streamed at CoralSprings.gov/CityTV.
