A comfortable and practical footmuff with lovely soft cotton fleece. The footmuff has openings for the 5-point harness with two separate positions for the shoulder straps. These two positions allow the 5-point harness’ shoulder straps to be positioned a bit lower so that the smaller child can rest comfortably. Made using Thermofil, this item can be used all year around. In warm weather, the top panel can be removed to allow the footmuff to be used as a seat pad. There are also clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Available in 22 colours

Perfect for cold walks, the Winter Footmuff is lined with warm fleece and includes openings for the 5-point harness, with two separate positions for the shoulder straps. There are also clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Double zippers make it easy for you to take your child in and out of the footmuff. Available in 11 colours (unicolours).

For our leatherette prams, there is now a matching exclusive footmuff with removable Inner-lining. As our leatherette fabrics cannot be washed (only wiped clean with a damp cloth), the soft inner-lining of the leatherette footmuff is removable so that it can be washed separately. It also features openings for the 5-point harness with two separate positions for the shoulder straps. These two positions allow the 5-point harness’ shoulder straps to be positioned a bit lower so that the smaller child can rest comfortably. There are also clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Available in 2 leatherette colours.

To ensure that the 5-point harness is in a suitable position for a smaller child, you can buy a Minimizer/Seat Pad for your pram. It features two separate openings for the 5-point harness’ shoulder straps so that you can position the straps lower down to ensure that the smaller child can rest comfortably. The seat pad is reversible with a hard wearing material on one side and soft cotton fleece on the other. There are also clips which allow you to attach the Minimizer into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Why not buy a colourful seat pad for a uni-coloured stroller for a new look. Available in 11 colours.

To enable us to have full control of the quality of our products, almost all of the constituent components of an Emmaljunga pram are made in our factory in Emmaljunga, Sweden. We precision bend the chassis tubing, manufacture our own wheels and plastic parts and also have our own surface treatment facilities. Although certain parts of the manufacturing process are automated, other parts are still genuinely handcrafted, including the assembly of our prams. At a time when the choice of products is vast and products become more and more interchangeable, strong brands represent more than exceptional quality. Emmaljunga â&#x20AC;&#x201C; since 1925 An Emmaljunga pram is more than a pram. It is a Swedish family tradition that stretches back to 1925 when the company founder, Henry L. Persson, manufactured the first Emmaljunga pram in his home village of Emmaljunga in the southern part of Sweden. During the 1930s the prams were manufactured using very simple, traditional methods. Then, as now, there were no shortcuts to creating happy customers and the craftsmanship was of a genuinely high standard. During the turbulent 1940s the demand for Emmaljunga prams was so high that the company continued to expand. The old wooden buildings were replaced by a modern factory and the company went from a workshop to an industry. During the 1960s and the 1970s high birth rates and social reforms helped Emmaljunga sales to reach new record levels. The factory was modernised and extended in several stages and the production volume reached 100,000 prams per year. During the 1980s and the 1990s the company continued to expand through export and with the aid of the sound thinking and decision making which still guides this successful family company after 85 years. To this day, the Swedish craftsmanship lives on and Emmaljunga products are now available in most parts of the world.

City Cross The City Cross has been a great success since its launch together with the City Carrycot. Many parents appreciate its compact size and lightweight chassis. With the addition of new superlight, sporty wheels, the pram now only weighs 12.9 kg with the City Carrycot (see picture below). NitroCity NitroCity is a slimline yet tough stroller which has become very popular among parents. Simple, lightweight (only 11,3 kg with the City Carrycot) and practical for urban travel on buses and the underground. The stroller is extremely narrow (57cm) and very flexible with swivel front wheels, which allow you to turn the stroller on the spot and move easily through busy city streets and shopping centres. Despite the pram's minimal outer measurements, the seat unit is very generous (90cm long x 32cm wide). Spider Spider is our smallest ever Sulky/buggy - a great model that is light, yet durable with a simple design. Twin Nitro

Twin Nitro Twin Nitro is the twin version of our successful Nitro stroller. Great importance has been placed on providing as much space as possible for the children, yet still keeping the width of the stroller to a minimum. Despite its generous inner measurements, the stroller will still fit through standard doors. Each child has almost as much space as in a single pram and there is plenty of room for two Quadrolifts for newborn babies. Twin Nitro is a must if you travel regularly with two children. The small swivel, tubeless front wheels provide maximum manoeuvrability and make the pram a pleasure to push even if it is heavily loaded. There are individual backrests and footrests for each child so that they can rest independently of one another. Quadrolift The Quadrolift is a clever and innovative product incorporating four practical functions in one item. It can be used as a cocoon, a lift, a footmuff and a seat pad with a winter and summer lining. We have chosen the softest and highest quality materials to make this product. Quadrolift is available in 25 colours and fits into most Emmaljunga prams. Quadrolift offers 4 practical solutions in one and the same product.

1. Cocoon Perfect for use in Emmaljunga's 3-in-1s. Place the Quadrolift straight into the carrycot part. There are many advantages. For instance, in situations where it is impractical to take your pram along - such as the doctor's surgery, a restaurant or into a flat - you can remove your baby from the carrycot in the cocoon where the child can continue to lie in comfort. You can also reverse the mattress and choose between the cosy fur fabric for the winter or soft cotton fleece for the summer.

2. Lift If you buy an Emmaljunga pushchair without a carrycot for a newborn, you can convert the pushchair into a luxurious pram with the Quadrolift. If you remove the bumper bar and attach the Quadrolift in the stroller, it can easily be used from birth. It can be used as a lift in the Twin Nitro.

3. Winter/summer footmuff When your child can sit unaided and you have converted your 3-in-1 pram into a pushchair, the Quadrolift can be used as a footmuff to ensure your child's legs are kept warm. The footmuff can be easily attached to the seat unit with the aid of the clips provided. You can reverse the liner in the footmuff and choose between cosy teddy bear fabric for the winter or soft fleece for the summer.

Light fastness

Tests and checks

All outer fabrics are tested and certified according to BS EN ISO 105-B04:1993. Emmaljunga places very high demands for light fastness on its products. To keep the colours of your pram looking fresh you should try to avoid placing the pram in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Please note! No fabric will remain unaffected after exposure to UV radiation, bad weather and wind.

Emmaljunga safety tests all prams in accordance with EN 1888. Our factory has its own test facilities where safety tests are carried out in a laboratory environment.

An Emmaljunga pram is designed to be used for many years. Our fabrics have to withstand cold winters, hot summers, rainy autumns plus children's dirty boots and sticky fingers! As a manufacturer of high quality products in Scandinavia since 1925, we have a long experience of coping with tough weather conditions and have therefore developed our own fabrics to withstand these conditions. After all, children need to spend 'playtime' outdoors so developing fabrics to cope with these demands is vital. We dare to say that Emmaljunga pram fabrics are in a class of their own.

ProtexTM All of our prams from the Model Year 2012 collection (except the Smart and leatherette prams) feature ProtexTM fabrics. Protex fabrics are not only dirt repellant and highly water repellant, but they also protect against the sun, wind and cold conditions. Feel the fabric, drip a little water on it, so you can see what Protex is all about. You will appreciate the full benefits when your child insists on playing outside despite the bad weather, or when you are caught out by a sudden downpour of rain! Even though most of our prams are equipped with ProtexTM fabrics, which are highly water repellant, we still recommend that you use a raincover when the rain is heavy and persistent. This is to avoid stains appearing on the inner lining caused by the rain mixing with dirt and pushing through the seams in the pram's fabrics. It is also important that you dry and air the pram thoroughly if it gets wet to keep your pram fresh.

Leatherette This model year our range features exclusive leatherette fabrics in 3 designs (Creme Leatherette, White Leatherette and Charleston). This is a very strong and modern material. Dirt can be removed easily by using a wet cloth and a drop of mild fabric detergent.

No harmful substances All our materials are tested according to EN1888 and EN71, Part 3:1995 and against AZO colouring substances, to ensure that no harmful substances exist in the fabrics. All our fabrics are tested thoroughly through accredited laboratories to comply with the EU regulations.

UV-Protection 50+ We have had our base outer fabrics tested according to an Australian/NZ standard concerning UV protection. The fabrics handle a UPF (Ultra-violet Protection factor) of 50+ against UPF and UVB radiation. This means that only 1/50 rays goes through the fabrics. The fabrics protects against 98% of UV-radiation and your child gets a very high protection against the sun from our hoods and parasols.

Polar Performance Emmaljunga prams are built to withstand cold and harsh conditions. Features such as our Thermobase carrycot base, Protex fabrics and accessories including wind resistant aprons, are just a few examples of how Emmaljunga equips its products to protect children against cold and wet weather. You could say that Emmaljunga prams are fit to perform under polar conditions. Our recently launched "Polar Performance"series features a sporty design with strong zippers. Most of our strollers are available in Polar Performance colours and feature powder coated chassis in coordinating colours. For the Polar Performance collection we have also designed a new practical backpack accessory in coordinating colours, ideal for these sporty prams and strollers.

All prams are quality checked throughout the whole of the manufacturing process, ensuring that both quality and safety are built into the pram during its production in our Swedish factory. Emmaljunga also has its own test facilities where product and fabric life testing are carried out in a laboratory environment, enabling us to continually improve the durability of our products.

Certified products Our manufacturing process as well as our products are inspected and certified regularly by TĂ&#x153;V. The products are certified by TĂ&#x153;V, SGS and STR (British Standard).

Environment Our products and components are tested regularly by accredited laboratories to ensure that no harmful substances are present, in accordance with EU directives.

Care for your pram Even though we perform quality and product life tests and only use material of the highest quality, it is still important for you to care for and maintain your pram in order for it to last and work effectively. No pram can remain free from wear and tear, for example, on the wheels and brakes and other moving parts on the chassis. Similarly, no fabric can maintain 100% light fastness if subjected to UV radiation. Follow the care instructions and you will have a lot of pleasure from your pram for a very long time to come!

Care of fabrics All fabrics are removable to enable them to be cleaned and the pram to retain its freshness. Follow the care advice supplied with the pram or contact your authorised retailer for care instructions. Fabric samples are available at all our authorised Emmaljunga retailers. Emmaljunga reserves the right against differences between fabric samples and the actual pram fabrics.

If something happens to your pram If you are not pleased with the quality of your pram for any reason, we kindly ask you to contact the retailer from whom the pram was purchased. Emmaljunga follows the statutory rules and regulations valid within the EU. Material and manufacturing faults are faults that are considered to have existed on the product from the date of purchase (as printed on your receipt). Faults that occur within 6 months from the purchase date are considered to have been present from the time of purchase. Products which on inspection are found to have these faults will be repaired or replaced, if a repair is not deemed possible. Faults that are found to be the result of an accident, airline damage, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear or a result of not having correctly followed the care instructions are not valid complaints.

Newton Hook Prams with a reversible handle are equipped with a Newton Hook, a lock which provides an extra safety mechanism

Hi-Pro head protection An excellent shock absorbing head protector, which is included with most of our carrycots (not available with the Smart or City Carrycot).

Cog wheel brake Provides gentle and effective braking for the wheels.

Easy Fixâ&#x201E;˘ Automatic additional lock allowing the simple and secure attachment of the seat unit (in both driving directions), the carrycot and Travel System Adaptor on to the chassis.

5-point Stretch comfort harness When your child has fallen asleep and you recline the backrest there is no need to make the belt longer so that the child can sleep comfortably as an extra stretch length has been built into the belt so that it sits perfectly regardless of whether your child is sitting or lying down.

Brakes A practical brake pedal is featured on all our prams with cog wheels for increased safety and comfort.

Safe Frame head protection The backrest on the seat unit has a protective metal frame which is activated automatically when the backrest is lowered.

Reflective Seams For visibility, reflective seams are featured on our fabrics

Telescopic handle Adjust the height of the handle telescopically to suit you for comfortable pushing (Sport chassis only).

Reversible handle With one simple movement you can change your child's driving direction to protect against the wind/ sun while the child is sitting in the pushchair (Sport Chassis only).

Swivel front wheels You can turn and drive “slalom” with ease without pushing down on the handle.

Quadrolift

Babylift

The Quadrolift has four practical functions and can be used from birth up to 3 years. It can be used as a Cocoon, a Lift, a Winter/Summer footmuff and a Winter/Summer seat pad. It fits in both the pram and stroller and the Twin Nitro. For detailed information see page 80. Outer measurements: 83 x 38 x 21cm. Inner measurements: 79 x 32 x 18cm. Allows you to use your stroller for a newborn baby. It has a removable mini hood which protects your child against sun and wind, even when you have removed the lift from the pram. Includes mattress. Measurements: 75 x 30 x 19 cm. Weight 2.6 kg. Available in 15 colours.

Travel System Adaptor Allows you to attach the First Class0+Base car seat on to most of our prams *.
