Act2PV Unveils Stellar Season with Broadway Stars, Lower Prices, and Venue Upgrades

With reduced ticket prices, there will be numerous new acts, some notable Broadway names, and lots of physical changes in the venue to greet patrons.

Mainstage favorites such as Rocky Horror Show musical, and Mamma Mia will continue with a fresh new look and sound.

And, to celebrate his new position, Sabella has called upon some of his friends and industry colleagues, to create the "Broadway Icons" series with such names as Tony Award winner, Lillias White (Hadestown, Chicago, The Life, Dreamgirls); Sam Harris (The Life, Tommy Tune’s Grease), Brent Barrett (Phantom of the Opera, Grand Hotel, CHICAGO, Kiss Me Kate), Karen Mason (Sunset Boulevard, Wonderland, Mamma Mia) and Sally Mayes (She Loves Me, Closer Than Ever), PLUS performing royalty, (and daughter of Judy

Garland) the incomparable Lorna Luft, just to name a few!

The new 'Cabaret Icons" series includes multi-award-winning singers Natalie Douglas, Jeff Harnar, Dawn Derow, Renee Armand, Sue Matsuki, Ann Talman, Marieann Meringolo, and Broadway favorite, Phillip Officer (Side Show). And, the new Legends of Drag/Alt Cabaret series features RuPaul star, Alexis Mateo, Dragula star Fantasia Royale Gaga, The Kinsey Sicks, Simply Barbra, Dame Edna, and Adult film star Jonah Wheeler and husband John Coons in "Nocturnal Omissions."

• NOV. 3 - Renee Armand

• NOV. 19, 20 - Mr. Lady Zen

• NOV. 22, 23 - Bianca Marroquin

“Bianca Marroquín is a Mexican musical theater and television star,” Sabella said. “She was the first Mexican actress to have a starring role on Broadway. We did CHICAGO together!” Marroquin has been seen on stage in hits like Rent, Chicago, and Phantom of the Opera, and if you are unfamiliar with Broadway shows, you may recognize her name from the hit Apple+ streaming show, Acapulco.

• NOV. 28 - A traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will be served in Act2’s new entertainment destination, Mary Ann’s Ovations Piano Bar.

• DEC. 3, 5, & 7 - Lorena Peril, leading vocalist for the Las Vegas show, Fantasy.

• DEC. 4 & 8 - Seth Sikes and Nicholas King in The New Belters Sing MGM.

• DEC. 10 - Mr. Lady Zen with their holiday concert.

• DEC. 13 - A multimedia concert, Love Beyond Borders, showcases the worldwide LGBTQ+ refugee crisis. Puerto Vallarta resident, Dr. Michael Failla, is producing the show, featuring some of the best local talent and music directed by Vallarta’s fan favorite Mark Hartman.

Failla’s name is synonymous with the crisis, as he has helped identify individuals at risk in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, and elsewhere and helped bring them to safety in the US, Canada, the UK, and Mexico.

• DEC. 18 - David Maiocco’s Liberace Christmas.

• DEC. 20 - Alexis Mateo, star of RuPaul's Drag Race.

• DEC. 23 - Brent Barrett’s holiday concert, Christmas Mornings.

• JAN. 3 - Brent Barrett and Bernie Blanks (husbands) with their gay love story show, Islands in the Stream.

• JAN. 6 - Delilah Beaucoup A Night of Jazz (inspired by the legendary Pink Martini).

• JAN. 10 - Lorna Luft, Judy Garland’s youngest daughter, Emmy Award winner and Broadway star.

Sabella will introduce “Frisky Fridays” which will cater to adults interested in seeing more “adultthemed” shows, including Nocturnal Omissions (Adult Star, Jonah Wheeler and husband John Coons); and Saturnalia (by the creators of fan-favorite Cir Concierto). Frisky Fridays will also include legendary drag/impersonation artists such as RuPaul star Alexis Mateo, Michael Walters as Dame Edna, Steve Brinberg as "Simply Barbra", The Kinsey Sicks, “real girl” female impersonator Dorothy Bishop in The Dozen Divas Show, and many more in their late night, Alt-Cabaret series.
