Genesis Health Institute Raises $26,240 for Abandoned Pet Rescue

On Thursday, December 15th Genesis Health Institute held its annual Holiday Party to benefit Abandoned Pet Rescue, and we were there to join the festivities—for a good cause!

Genesis Health Institute has been holding its annual event to support a worthy cause in the community for many years. For the past nine, they have selected Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and shelters abandoned and abused dogs and cats to find them new homes. APR is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida and has provided quality care for 6,800 cats and dogs in the past decade. Genesis has donated more than $75,000 to APR since 2018.

“Our annual holiday party allows us to celebrate the season with our clients and our community while giving back to this great cause,” said Dimitri Bakoulis, Chief Operations Officer of Genesis Health Institute. “It’s one of our favorite events of the year.”
