GOALS We will turn this space into a real life-place. Where it will be most enjoyable to gather for a drink, to take-in the city view, to host a family dinner or just to rejoice in the warmth of the fireplace. As our priority is to make this space feel â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;aliveâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;, we will use plants to break the rigidity of the existing floor and metal box. We would like to work with noble materials: ceramic, wood, pots with iconic shapes.

Main Element: entrance with belvedere effect. Upon entering, the circulation will be guided to the right by a console framed by 2 pots shielding the Solarium in order to maintain privacy.

It’s important for us that this project is structured using different levels to create specific experiences for different visitors and users.

Wood cladding will cover the facade to create a double skin between the steel box and the terrace (the objective being to minimize the impact of the large window panes.)

The dining space will appear encased within a Vegetal Cocoon providing a feeling of protection while retaining the opened sights.

We will create a “buffer space” between the dining space and the lounge area.

The lounge area will be placed in the fireplace axis, on a raised level in order to accentuate the exclusive feel of this specific space.

We will create a modular reading / quiet area that can be used independently or as an extension for the formal lounge area when extra space is needed.

We choose not to use this exit, in order to create a perspective effect and greenery effect upon arrival at the top of the staircase.

The Solarium area is shielded from the view of guests arriving on the terrace. We will create a vegetal cocoon with two trees on the left side and the green wall flowing from the roof.

Our goal is to achieve a noble selection of materials in order to bring texture and volume to the Project. We will use a composition of pots, a mix of classic and modern forms. Wood cladding will give an organic feel to the steel box covering the frontage. Furniture with pure lines will provide a finishing touch to the Project.

Our selection of plants will favor species with graphic forms and light foliage allowing a form of transparency or seethrough in order not to block the city views. The composition will be 2/3 persistent foliage to maintain the project structure during Winter time, 1/3 deciduous foliage in order to have blossoms, flowers and a variety of colors according to the seasons. The rest will be herbaceous species and grasses planted in a graphic composition to instill modernity into the Project.
