Accessibility

Outfest is dedicated to continually expanding our accessibility policies and practices in an effort to accommodate a variety of needs for attendees and guests.

IN-PERSON SCREENINGS

• All festival venues are wheelchair accessible, including accessible entries, exits, and restrooms. Full details on venue accessibility are available at OutfestLA.org/ accessibility

• Early access for patrons with accessibility or mobility needs is available — please see a Theater Manager or venue staff for accommodation.

• Service animals trained to specifically assist people with disabilities are welcome at all official festival theater venues.

• American Sign Language (ASL), live transcription (CART), and film

• Assistive listening devices, hearing looping, and apps providing audio amplification are available at select venues. Full details on venue accessibility are available at OutfestLA.org/accessibility

VIRTUAL SCREENINGS

• Outfest aims to offer accessibility assets for as many films as possible. Select virtual film screenings will include closed captions or subtitles in English, and audio description. For any screenings not located at the DGA, the Box Office will open (1) hour prior to the first screening, and close (15) minutes after the last screening
