ARTIST BIOS Dan Bernitt is an award-winning playwright, performer, and teaching artist. Hailed as “one of America’s next great monologists,” he’s been performing and touring his work in venues across the United States since 2004. He’s also performed internationally in Ireland and Italy. A recipient of the Robert Chesley Award for Lesbian and Gay Playwriting, his books, Dose: Plays & Monologues and Phi Alpha Gamma, were named finalists for the Lambda Literary Award.
Hillary Boyd is an actor, singer, writer, and comedian hailing from Amarillo, TX. She has performed her original solo show "I Put the SING in Single!" all over the country, including cabaret venues Don’t Tell Mama Las Vegas and The Duplex in NYC. She recently earned her MFA from Texas Tech in Theatre Performance & Pedagogy and holds a BA from Baylor University. Hillary is absolutely thrilled to perform at the inaugural Outside In Festival!
Charlotte Bydwell's select theater credits include: The Michaels (Public Theatre), HELP (The Shed), PARIS! (Company XIV), A Month in the Country (Williamstown), Much Ado About Nothing (The Old Globe) and Venus in Fur (Virginia Stage Company). Bydwell’s television credits include Elementary, The Good Fight, and Alternatino (season choreographer). Professional dance credits include Monica Bill Barnes & Co. (The Joyce, American Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow) and Keigwin + Co (The Joyce). She is a graduate of the Juilliard Dance Division and the Old Globe/USD MFA Acting Program. Josh Cahn is a NYC/Chicago-Based actor that has had his work featured on HBO, NBC, Comedy Central, The History Channel, and in 25+ commercial projects including Starbucks, LG TV, IL Lottery, & More. Titus Tiel Groenestege has worked in the theatre since 1981, writing and playing his own material and appears in TV shows and movies in the Netherlands. Although still active as an actor, Titus has lately mainly been known as a director. Drawing from the diversity of his own acting experiences, his field of work covers theatre, cabaret, slapstick, music theatre, bands, classical orchestras, dance and movement theatre.
Heather Holmes is a performer, writer, and teaching artist from TX. She has worked for the literary journal GULF COAST, and created, written, devised and performed original works internationally, in NYC, and regionally across the U.S. She’s a Hemispheric Institute's EMERGENYC Fellow, Naked Angels Theater Company's Issues Project Lab Fellow, holds an MFA from The New School, and is currently developing a strange and beautiful performance project about dreams. Heather is a traveler and storyteller, an avid listener, and hopes to learn to dance like no one's watching.
Ria Marks was educated as a theatre performer at the Amsterdam Theatre School. After having played with different companies, she joined Orkater, Holland’s most prominent company in the field of Music Theatre. In 1997, she started to team up with performing artist Titus Tiel Groenestege. Together they created and performed ‘False Waltz’, a trilogy depicting a couple through three stages of their life. Invited by a Dutch national television company, this trilogy was made into a movie, nominated for an Emmy Award in 2007. The film received many prizes and awards, such as the Prix d’Italia and a Rocky Award. Recently, Ria Marks was invited to give lectures and workshops in Seoel (SouthKorea), Shanghai and Beijing (China), New York (U.S.A.), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), and Reykjavic (Island). Collin Vorbeck is an actor, director, teacher, and theatre scholar originally from Kansas City, MO. A recent Tech grad with his PhD in Fine Arts, Collin currently serves as the Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. He performs regularly with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival back home, with credits including King Lear, Julius Caesar, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, Shakespeare in Love, and – later this summer – Romeo and Juliet. Colin Wulff is a New York-based actor, writer, and dramaturg. He graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in Theatre (Highest Honors), and has since performed with regional theaters (Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Cleveland Public Theatre, Southern Shakespeare Festival), in NYC (59E59 Theaters, New Dramatists, Metropolitan Playhouse, Hip to Hip Theatre Company) and television (CBS' "Madam Secretary" and "FBI: Most Wanted"). This fall he will begin his studies as an MFA candidate in Dramaturgy at Columbia University. He is represented by The Krasny Office. .
