Iam Tami McNeil and she is Amanda Cooper. We met 4 yrs ago on TINDER. Amanda had recently relocated to California from Alaska. She worked for FEMA and was constantly deployed which made dating and learning a new city extra challenging. Amanda was assigned to the Camp Fire in Paradise which kept her close enough to home that she could actually date seriously. In early November 2021 we were on a trip to Turks and Caicos where I had planned to surprise Amanda with a proposal. Unfortunately a couple beat me to it and got engaged. Amanda looked at me and said, “don’t do that. Beach proposal is so cliché.” So I panicked. When we got home we had professional pictures planned at Royer Park. So I hired Lekker Events to help me pull off a surprise proposal. Amanda was certainly surprised but she did say YES! we are getting married Oct 7, 2023 at Wolfe Heights in Sacramento and cannot wait!

My fiancé and I got engaged in September and a friend sent the link to share. My name is Sharlett OConnor and my partner is Helen Maderazo. Helen and I met in 2011 and reconnected in 2021. We got engaged at the spot of our very first date in Auburn, California and we’ll be married September 22, 2023. I am a Sacramento native and she has lived in Sacramento off and on for many years. We love all of Sacramento’s bike trails, kayaking on the river, and hiking nearby.
