Two very different new movies in theaters feature queer couples, and I also review two terrific nominees for this year’s Academy Awards.

The handsome actors Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge, both gay in real life, play a queer couple, who must make a horrible choice, after four strangers invade their remote vacation cabin in this new movie. The gay dads, who have an adorable little Asian daughter, can save humanity if they sacrifice one member of their family.
