The Artist Survival Kit (ASK) workshops address marketing, technology, and organizational skills artists need to thrive. OVAC publishes the Resource Guide for Artists with comprehensive statewide listings such as submission information for venues that show artwork. OVAC also sends members a monthly e-newsletter that spotlights art events across the state and another e-newsletter for artist opportunities, commissions, exhibitions, and scholarships. OVAC invests in the ideas and futures of individual artists through grants and fellowships. Grants to artists fund key points in artists’ careers such as start up funds, community projects and conferences.
