Jerz was born Jabbar Shakoor Ragland in Atlantic City New Jersey On January 8, 1990 “I fell in love with music at the age of eight” playing the drums he devloped the intrest of making beats and this is when he realized this is what he wanted to do for the the rest of his life. Jerz perfected his beat&drum skillz throughout school being apart of the drill team and the drum line. Jerz began to make his mark with his passion and love of the hobby so much so he began finding himself in the local talent shows. By high School Jerz was in the band pushing and wanting more doors to open “Drummng was my life”. As time moved he began to realize that the drums where not fulflling him completely on top of that things where not going as planned he knew he had to find what was missing to the link. Choosing to leave the band jerz set out for his fulfillment, he was ready for the next level. By 2005 Jerz was introducing himself to rap game.He started writing and came together with a friend of his known as “Big Mil” which eventually became known as “Dope Boys”.”We did a couple of songs then i went away for a

Senetra Busbee Senetra Busbee Born October 27th, Grew up in Myrtle Beach. “As a child growing up I always knew drawing was going to be a part of my life, it was inevitable to me, the feeling I got when my pencil would meet the paper was an intoxicating experience”. The first time she realized she held this gift was back in elementary school in art class when her art teacher would comment on my strange people like character drawings.” It wasn’t sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing, but to me it looked Dr. Seuss had graced my paper with his presents”. Busbees’ art work definitely didn’t look like the other kids drawings. Throughout middle school and high school Senetra would draw all day long until finally she went off to College (The Art Institute of Charlotte). “My love for art only grew through my time there”. In 2010 Senetra earned her degree in Interior design still plan to go back for Architectural design. Now a wonderful mother and Wife Sentra resides in Jacksonville, North Carolina Senetra continues to be Creative in more ways than one, by painting, and belly dancing.

mber Blount is a rapper who goes by Mrs. New Haven also known as Lady B. Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut; she is the youngest niece of CT’s own notable Rapper, Writer, Entertainer, and Director Phil Blount. She started writing at the tender age of 7. Her influence was Lisa Left eye, the rapper in the female group TLC. Her journey as an artist began at age 10 when she started putting her writing to action, at only 12 years old she was feautred on the chorus of Phil B’s classic “War For Position” Now 22 years old, Lady B is the First Lady of No Gimmick Music Coalition (NGMC). She frequently performs in the New Haven area at Red Café, Chazmos, and the Legendary Toad’s Place to name a few. Although she is a hip hop artist her heart is for classic Old School music. Lady B’s plan for her music career doesn’t stop at just performing however, her goal is to write and produce for other artist as well. Which artists most inspire you? “Left Eye, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, MC Lyte, Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliott inspire me most because they have raw talent, they’re true to their craft, but most of all they had no boundaries. Its hard being a female rapper in a predominately male industry but these ladies pulled it off. Whether you agreed with their rhymes or not you still Listened. How would you describe your style? “I would say my style is pretty straight forward. I get right to the point. There’s no beating around the bush, no sugarcoating rhymes, No Gimmicks.” What inspires you to continue going through the rough struggle of an up and coming artist? “Bringing Originality back to Hip Hop is what inspires me the most to continue this struggle. I don’t knock anyone for what they do, but the majority of songs nowadays are too commercial. There’s no soul on top of that beat.” What type of story would you say your music tells? “My music tells stories of Truth. Whether I lived through it or seen someone else live through it there’s always truth. I tell stories of reality, just everyday life. The good and the bad, lessons that were taught to me and lessons that I’ve learned.” What is it you dislike about the music industry? “What I dislike most about the music industry is that people tend to lose themselves, making millions becomes more of a focus and making change becomes a thing of the past. At the end of the day we all have to eat. Everyone has their reasons of why this and why that, but most Artists fail to realize just how important they can be. When I hear certain Artist I can mostly tell you that I know if the potential is there to be a major league pro star quality emerging and we truly have that with Phil Blount. I can remember the first time I played Phil s’ mix-tape in my car. As soon as I heard the very first track I said to myself this guy is a major star. I asked my friend who had given it to me if he was signed and he said no. I was stunned, the cadence and the style which he carried showed me that he is ready for the “show”. Take Hitler and his Third Reich. They exterminated millions with the goal to be the dominant race and a world super power, and just like those before and after him failed to meet their goal. History also teaches us that it always repeats itself in some form or fashion. Today, believe it or not we are still in the hunt for peace and salvation. Wars, Famine, Rape and Murder are still top news on any station and on any given day including Sunday. That also holds true for other countries around the world. One country in particular Uganda, Africa sets the stage for one of the world’s most dangerous criminals wanted for war crimes to date against humanity. Who are we talking about? We are talking about none other than Joseph Kony and his army of war torn families. Kony is the leader of the Ugandan Lords’ Resistance Army (LRA), and has managed to steadily terrorize central Africans to maintain his power. Since 1986 Kony has abducted over 66,000 children; forcing the girls to become sex-slaves and the boys to fight in the LRA. Which he has done so for the past 26 years. His misuse of power and mind control over the masses with fear and Confusion often keeps the people at bay and has also landed Kony on the top of International Criminal Court’s most wanted list.

“In order for Kony to be arrested this year, the Ugandan military has to find him. In order for them to find him, they need the technology and training to find him in the vast jungle. That’s where the American advisors come in. But in order for the American advisors to be there, the US government has to deploy them.
