Where we explore valuable information and resources on drug education. Drug abuse and addiction can have devastating consequences on individuals prevention efforts and educated use crucial. Fortunately, there are many organizations dedicated to providing resources and support who need. In this segment, we'll take a closer look at some of these organizations. So let's dive in and discover the gems of drug prevention!

What are our local community builders dreams made of? Strong harm reduction systems throughout DFW! Which is why the organization DHREAM is perfectly named to represent their goal of uniting and bringing harm reduction efforts to all parts of the metroplex. The acronym stands for Dfw Harm Reduction Education Access Movement and you can find them at @dfwharmredux on instagram and Twitter. DHREAM currently has monthly events in Dallas, Denton, and Fort Worth, as well as occasional events in other suburbs. Events range from setting up tables at local shows and events, to joining forces with orgs like future jewel Mantra Recovery to give back to our houseless communities. At any event you'll find kind and non-judgmental friends answering questions and helping to educate our community on the many ways we can do our part to keep each other safe. You'll also be able to pick up essential supplies like Narcan and condoms (yes, safe sex is harm reduction too;)) and get information on how to check your substances for safety. Whether you need supplies yourself, know someone who does, want to volunteer, donate, or just spread the word, this local gem deserves all of our support!
