Happy New Year! Wishing all our wonderful Members a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! Your Lifestyle team has created some beneficial and fun events to bring wellness to your Lifestyle! Last year ended with a bang at the Taylor Morrison Member appreciation event and our Resort pool was transformed into a Winter Wonderland for our final Signature Event of the year, It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle! This was such a great way to usher in a brand-new year of fun and enriching Lifestyle programming. Clubs are really taking off here at Azario! Be sure to attend your monthly Coffee and Conversation to share your interests and creative ideas for future interest groups and social clubs. We currently have plans to introduce Poker, Euchre and Canasta clubs to our line-up. Some of our monthly activities include a chance to catch a game at our Men’s Happy Hour on Sunday afternoons and Ladies Lunch Bunch or Dinner Divas for those who prefer a gathering later in the afternoon.

This is the key to understanding all that your Esplanade Lifestyle has to offer! Please make an effort to attend this meeting, now taking place in person. We also invite our Members to join us for Neighborhood News, a community update with your dedicated team, and Coffee and Conversation with your Lifestyle Manager to discuss all things Lifestyle! C.J. Hamlin YOUR NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF LIFESTYLE

is with great pleasure that we introduce Charles “C.J.” Hamlin, our National Director of Lifestyle as a part of the Esplanade National Team. With the continued growth of the Esplanade brand, Mr. Hamlin will be instrumental in orchestrating new Lifestyle experiences for our Members, as well as helping to support the Lifestyle programming at our Esplanade communities nationwide. Mr. Hamlin has been a leader in the hospitality industry for over 17 years. Regarded as one of the best bottom-line operators in the business, he is known for creating unique and tailored service experiences for Members and guests. His focus on maintaining consistency through product and service delivery creates lifelong customers and brand loyalty. As the National Director of Lifestyle, Mr. Hamlin has overall responsibility for the operations of our Esplanade Lifestyle programs. He also provides oversight for the field staff support functions as well as for brand service standards and promoting the delivery of consistent and memorable service for our Members and guests. In a recent interview, Mr. Hamlin commented, “My two major goals for 2022 are to expand our Esplanade travel program, which will offer exquisite travel experiences not found elsewhere, and continue to elevate our level of service provided to our Members and guests.” Prior to joining Esplanade, Mr. Hamlin was the general manager at the largest airpark community in the nation, home to celebrities and dignitaries, with a 4000-foot runway, over 1,300 luxury homes and 700 hangars. In addition to his club management experience, Mr. Hamlin has fifteen years of experience managing large hotels with Omni Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Hamlin is a native of Florida, a member of CMAA, a licensed Community Association Manager, and a “Top 40 Under 40” business professional recipient. His life mission has been to create opportunities for others to be successful. He has written three books on business and leadership and regularly contributes to his local community. He has been married for eighteen years and has three children. He enjoys coaching football for his son’s football team and working with livestock on his ranch.

Show off your best Chili recipe in recognition of National Chili Day! Members will prepare their chili recipes at home and bring them down to the Sales Gallery Lanai in a crock-pot or other warming device. We will have plenty of power outlets on hand for those that request it. Advanced registration and a minimum of 10 participants is required to hold this event. Tasting bowls, spoons, napkins and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Members are invited to bring their own beverages to enjoy.

LOVED BY FATHER & DAUGHTER, MIKE & SYDNEY WOLF What breed/type are your pets and how old? Gypsy is an 8-year-old calico and Penny is a 16-year-old tabby. What are their most unique qualities or something funny they do? Penny is a cuddle bug and Gypsy is a dedicated sous chef. When you travel, do your pets join you or do you have a favorite caretaker? When we travel, they stay at home with a family member. What is something naughty that your pets are always doing? Gypsy is always sneaking into the pantry and Penny is always putting holes in t-shirts, she likes to hang on if you pick her up.

What are their favorite treats and how do you celebrate birthdays? Gypsy’s favorite treat is just about anything, but her favorite is probably anise pizzelles. Penny loves greenies. We celebrate their birthdays with extra snuggles and snacks!

MEET Loki LOVED BY MIKE & GINA BOHN What breed/type is your pet and how old? Loki is a 3-year-old Lynx Point. What is your pet's most unique quality or something funny they do? Besides watching birds and catching lizards on the lanai, Loki enjoys playing with his "mice" and chasing his white rubber ball. His most unique quality is that he likes to chew cords and drawstrings. When you travel, does your pet join you or do you have a caretaker? Loki has a couple of different caretakers when we travel. Both live in the Esplanade Golf & Country Club nearby. What is something naughty that your pet is always doing? Loki gets on the kitchen counter, even though he knows he's not supposed to. He does it while we're eating dinner and he knows we're distracted. What is your pet's favorite treat and how do you celebrate birthdays? Crucky dry seafood treats are his favorite. For Loki's birthday, he gets extra treats. We love our little Loki!

eorge Callaghan, originally from Virginia, retired from his family pest control business and Trisha Schena, from North Boston, is currently enjoying her role as a Master Hair Stylist at Utopia Spa in Lakewood National Bradenton Fl.  George has 1 son and 4 grandsons in Virginia and Trisha has 1 daughter and son in law and 2 grandchildren who own Castle Gate Farms in Ocala, Florida. Trisha’s beloved family is what brought her to Florida where she met George almost 6 years ago! They both feel immense gratitude for many things in their life, including finding each other, building their dream home here in Esplanade Azario, and for all the wonderful new friends they are meeting here along the way. During their search for the perfect location and place to live, they were pleased to find it right here on the golf course.  The couple loves to dance, play golf, host house parties and enjoy meeting new friends. Trisha has shared that she looks forward to trying her luck at pickleball, as Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch continues to implement exciting new sports programming for Members to enjoy.   George and Trisha share, “We can’t wait to move into our new home! It has been a long wait but so worth it. We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the contractors, builders, and Taylor Morrison employees for seeing it through. We are thrilled to call Azario home and can’t wait to enjoy our new Lifestyle here. Thank you to all our new friends that we have met for all your support and recommendations. 2-3 tablespoons Greek Yogurt 1 teaspoon Cocoa Powder 1 teaspoon Buttermilk ¼-½ of a Banana, mashed 1 teaspoon Honey 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

DIRECTIONS Combine all ingredients and mix in a blender. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face. Leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with cool water, followed by a splash of cold water to seal your pores. *Always apply any mask to a small portion of the skin first to test for allergic reactions.

Taylor Morrison has teamed up with the National Wildlife Federation to restore and protect wildlife habitat in our communities nationwide! We are applying National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat standards to community parks and open spaces to protect natural areas. We are developing Habitat Management Plans for our homeowners’ associations to promote engagement and successful long-term stewardship of these habitats.
