Letter From the Lifestyle Team
MADELINE STONE YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGERHappy New Year!
Here’s to a bright New Year and a fond farewell to the old; here’s to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold. Your Lifestyle Team has been working hard to provide a variety of engaging social events and activities to give you an opportunity to connect with your neighbors and make our Esplanade at The Heights community flourish as we enjoy the winter months.
As more and more people go under contract and close on their home, the bigger our social life gets! Please remember that as soon as you go under contract with Taylor Morrison on this property, you are invited to participate in all Lifestyle events and activities. The Lifestyle Program is tailored to your interests, so do not hesitate to reach out to us with your comments and suggestions for our events in the future.
What a end of the year it was! With the opening of the Resort Amenity Center, it has allowed our Members to enjoy the space with their friends and feel as though vacation is only a few steps away!
After celebrating a Friendsgiving with the neighborhood in the Sales Gallery and trying out all the dishes everyone brought, and holding another Cooking & Cocktails Series: The 3 Pillars of Pizza with our National Director of Food and Beverage, Patrick Scully, we packed up
everything and opened the Venue where we will be holding almost all of our events from here on out.
Esplanade at The Heights Members along with Esplanade at Azario and Esplanade at Skye Ranch were invited to participate in a “Pickled Pink” Pickleball Tournament at Esplanade at Azario to raise money for a local Breast Cancer Foundation, In-The-Pink in Sarasota. From the attire, to the gift baskets and the music, everything was themed pink. We are so happy to announce that through registration and raffle tickets, we were able to raise $1,600 for In-The-Pink!
Moving into the new year, we will begin monthly trivia nights in the Gathering Room, continue our First Friday events on the patio and even have occasional live music while you’re relaxing by the pool.
Check out the next several pages to see what is planned. Events are constantly being added to the calendar be sure to stay up to date by visiting EsplanadeHeightsLifestyle.com, selecting the calendar tab and browsing the plethora of events! We look forward to seeing you!
Jack Martin
LIFESTYLE CONCIERGE
We are thrilled to welcome Jack Martin to the Esplanade team as our new Lifestyle Concierge! Jack was born in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in Sarasota since the age of two. Growing up, Jack loved to play sports and was fond of anything active, including exploring the open water through scuba diving, or hiking through the mountains of North Carolina where he spent many summers! Jack graduated from Riverview High School and is currently working on his degree in civil engineering at the State College of Florida.
One of Jack’s first jobs was working for a home-remodeling company where he enjoyed watching the process of how the customized details within a home can evoke a certain look and feel. Jack has always had a desire to learn new skills and trades from landscaping to customer service. He is excited to be a part of the team and looks forward to supporting the resort experience Esplanade is so well known for providing.
Around Town
35TH ANNUAL DOWNTOWN SARASOTA FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Saturday, February 11 - Sunday, February 12 | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 1718 Main Street, Sarasota
The Big One! Downtown Sarasota’s Main Street sees numerous events, fairs, festivals and fundraisers each year. Few, however, could boast the tenure or the stature of the Sarasota Festival of the Arts. The festival will fill Main Street starting at Orange Avenue and heading east to Links Avenue. The overwhelming success of the festival each year led to expanding and covering more than five city blocks with over 200 national and regional artists. The high level of artistic quality, the accessibility of the free, outdoor festival and the diversity of art has led to the Festival of the Arts’ consecutive rankings among the top 100 art festivals in the nation, according to Sunshine Artist Magazine
Residents and visitors are invited to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics and more from the 200 artists who are on site to discuss their inspirations and processes for each hand-made work. Parking is free and pets on leashes are always welcomed. Proceeds from the Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts benefits the Downtown Sarasota Alliance. For more information, visit artfestival.com/festivals/ downtown-sarasota-festival-arts

Furry Friends
Meet ZZ & Bobo
LOVED
BY LINDA ZUFFATell us about your pets’ breeds and ages. ZZ and Bobo are 1 year-old Maltese dogs.
What are your pets’ favorite treats? PUP-Corn!
Tell us about the time you welcomed your pets to your loving home. I adopted my dogs from a breeder on July 3, 2020. I had only planned to get Bobo; however, our family experienced the tragic death of our nephew and I had to delay the pick up of Bobo. The breeder said she just had a call about another family who was going to take Bobo’s sister and now they couldn’t. I felt that was a sign and I decided to adopt both Bobo and ZZ (two of a triplet set) and I am very happy I did!
