Letter From the Lifestyle Team MADELINE STONE YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGER
Spring has sprung! It is hard to believe we are already a quarter of the way into the year, but it has been packed full of so many fun outings and opportunities already! As they say, time flies! Your Lifestyle Team has been working hard to provide a variety of fun and social events and activities to give you an opportunity to connect with your neighbors and make our Esplanade at The Heights community flourish.
Sarasota. The night was full of music, wine and dancing! Our second Signature Event, Peace, Love & Esplanade was just as exciting as we traveled back in time to the Woodstock Festival back in 1969. We also held our Amenity Groundbreaking Ceremony in January that gave our Members a look into the future programming of the Resort Amenity Center.
As more and more people go under contract and close on their home, the bigger our social life gets! Please remember that as soon as you go under contract with Taylor Morrison on this property, you are invited to participate in all Lifestyle events and activities. The Lifestyle Program is tailored to your interests, so do not hesitate to reach out to us with your comments and suggestions for our events in the future.
Our upcoming Lifestyle Programming is nothing short of exciting as well. From more Yappy Hours for our furry friends, to Sunset Sipping gatherings and more, we try to pack your schedule full of events and opportunities that are available to all Members! We’ll begin March with our Alligator Seminar, an informative presentation designed to give you tips all about alligator safety. You won’t want to miss our day trip to the Ringling Museum or the Boat tour off of Anna Maria Island as we wrap up March. April will be full of Easter events including an Easter egg hunt on the mountain! We’ll travel back in time to our high school prom days as we wrap up April with our third Signature Event, Forever Young Prom Night. We are constantly adding events to your calendar so be on the lookout for your weekly Lifestyle emails.
As we moved into 2022, we were able to get a couple clubs moving, including our Holiday Cookie Exchange Club, Dinner Divas and our Card Club, and we have more that we would like to roll out as we move forward. Back in December, we held our It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle Signature Event at Grand Cru Wine bar in downtown

Madeline Stone YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGER
B
eing from all the way up in New Hampshire, Madeline is very excited to be relocated down in sunny Sarasota with all the beautiful attractions Florida has to offer. Growing up, she always had a desire to stay active, whether it was taking overnight hikes through the mountains of New England or planning ski trips to Utah and Wyoming. As long as it involved getting on her feet, she was happy. Madeline attended Florida State University and earned a degree in Global Club Management and Leadership, a major specific to Florida State. She fell in love with the idea of working in hospitality as she would be able to display her interest in meeting new people and have a changing day to day work life. She was able to complete two internships during the summers between semesters to help further her career. First, she went to a tiny beach town in the north section of Ireland where she interned at The Rosapenna Hotel and Golf Resort and got to live and work alongside people from so many different cultures and backgrounds. Second, she spent a summer interning in Portland, Oregon at Waverley Country Club where she got to explore the new city and the beautiful landscape that Oregon and Washington have to offer.

To execute her love for travel, Madeline was also able to study abroad for a full semester in college where she attended FSU’s Valencia, Spain campus. She indulged in the wonderful culture Spain has to offer by exploring all over the country while also planning trips to visit a plethora of other beautiful countries around Europe while she was there. Madeline just completed a season working in New Hampshire at Bald Peak Colony Club working as a dining room manager / assistant events manager. She absolutely loved getting to know the members throughout the season as they made her experience unforgettable. She also discovered her passion for event planning, and when the season in New Hampshire was wrapping up, she decided to look for a year-round position and was able to fulfill her passion for travel, meeting new people and event planning when she took the job as Lifestyle Manager here at Esplanade at The Heights.

Furry Friends MEET Cody - LOVED BY MARK & DEE TEPOORTEN What kind of pet do you have and what is the breed? Cody is a 4-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix) male. What is your pet’s favorite treat? Yogurt and whipped cream. How did your fur baby join your family? Cody grew up in the Chicago southwest suburbs. Our family rescued him from a puppy store and moved to Florida in August 2021. Cody likes to lay in the wet sand at the Venice dog beach and climb the stairs to the top of Mount Tumulo. Although only 8 lbs, he can hold his own with big dogs. Cody is a little lazy and likes to be carried on walks. The dog park on Mt. Tumulo is pretty cool - lots of good sniffs up there. His dislikes are vacuum cleaners, skateboards, scooters, bicycles and ice in his paws (don’t have to worry about this any more). He’s very excited about our new community and has already met some cute girl dogs at the Yappy Hours.

obinson Preserve in Bradenton is a salt marsh, now home to jumping mullet and hundreds of species of fish and other marine life. This preserve is a 600-acre coastal preserve. The interior of the preserve features hiking paths, kayak, paddle board and canoe waterways, bridges, picnic spots, mangrove forests and a 53-foot-tall tower with a wide-open view of the Tampa Bay area.
NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION
Taylor Morrison has teamed up with the National Wildlife Federation to restore and protect wildlife habitat in our communities nationwide! We are applying National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat standards to community parks and open spaces to protect natural areas. We are developing Habitat Management Plans for our homeowners’ associations to promote engagement and successful long-term stewardship of these habitats.

Before embarking on a Trolley tour around Sarasota to look at the festive holiday light displays, we had a Hot Chocolate Happy Hour where Members were encouraged to bring their own beverage or sip on the warm hot chocolate and snacks in the Sales Gallery. And of course, wearing holiday-themed clothes was encouraged!
CLUB
We kicked off our first official Holiday Cookie Exchange Club where participants freshly baked their best holiday cookies and got to swap them with the others! We had such a good turnout, each Member got to go home with almost 10 different bags of delicious cookies!

YAPPY HOUR In honor of Taylor Morrison presenting the Waste Management Phoenix Open, we held a Golf-themed Yappy Hour. The players came ready to rumble to play with the golf ball balloons, the “ruff” of the course and of course, more Puppacinos!
Holiday
YAPPY HOUR We held a very festive Holiday themed Yappy Hour as the pups came dressed up and ready to play! The evening was full of puppacinos and doggie Christmas treats that they got to take home to enjoy. Santa even made time to stop by during his busy holiday schedule!

FLORIDA DAY To honor national Florida Day and all of its beauty, we spent the morning walking the beautiful trails of Robinson’s Preserve. We crossed rivers, bridges and the beautiful coastline of Tampa Bay. What a great way to get active and start our day!

SIGNATURE EVENT
We held our winter themed Signature Event, It’s a Wonderful Lifestyle at Grand Cru Wine Bar in Downtown Sarasota. The night was full of dancing, good music and of course, wine! Our Members got to see what the nightlife was like in downtown Sarasota and got a taste of the scenery. We had a wonderful photographer capture the memorable moments of the night.

Recent Events Resort Amenity Groundbreaking

To commemorate our milestone of breaking ground on our future Resort Amenity site, we held a wonderful ceremony full of food, drinks and a look into the future Lifestyle programming at the future Resort Amenity site. Our builders have been working tirelessly and were able to come out and answer a few questions from our Members. It was an afternoon of giveaways and excitement for when the site is finally open!

National Cheese Day
We kicked off our first Dinner Divas in January at Wheat and Water Italian Kitchen in Bradenton! Reservations are made by your Lifestyle Manager, all you have to do is show up to mingle! This club is open to all Esplanade Ladies.
To honor National Cheese day, we provided the Sunset Sippers a cheese display to pair with the beverages they brought up to the patio of Mount Tumalo. Once again, we had a beautiful sunset that spanned across the horizon of the community we call home.

ALLIGATOR SEMINAR Thursday, March 10 | 3 p.m. Sales Gallery Lanai Join us and our speaker, Ryan, as he teaches us how to safely and comfortably live with alligators! Alligators can be very dangerous creatures and it is up to you to keep yourself and others safe. Ryan will be bringing a live, baby alligator for everyone to see as well as give out brochures for those who would like to take information home with them. If you are unable to attend the in-person seminar, your Lifestyle Manager will provide a Zoom link as well.
RINGLING MUSEUM Monday, March 21 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota, FL 34243 Join us for an outing to the Ringling Museum! We will walk around the outdoor Bayfront Gardens as well as the Museum of Art. Come spend the morning looking at the beautiful artwork that the museum has to offer!

Any Member wishing to develop an interest group or club should contact their Lifestyle Manager to receive information and an application. Bring a yoga mat or towel and we’ll listen to a 30 minute guided meditation to kick start your morning in a mindful state to get you ready to take on the day!

our National Director of Food, Beverage & Culinary Experience, Patrick Scully, along with your local Lifestyle team, invite you to embark on a new epicurean adventure: The Esplanade Cooking & Cocktail Series! Each installment of this interactive culinary experience will last approximately one hour and will include a step-bystep demonstration of the selected fare (one food item and one libation) from professionals in their craft. At the conclusion of the experience, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a sample size of each featured item. The first class in the series will feature Ceviche and Pisco Sours! Space is limited, so visit the event calendar on your community website to register for this gastronomic event! Please note, participants will not be actively cooking these dishes or preparing cocktails, but volunteers may be requested. Portions are sample size. If you are unable to join us in person for the demonstration, digital recipe cards will be emailed out at a future date to give you the opportunity to test out your culinary skills at home!
