Letter From the Lifestyle Team ALEXA HANSARD YOUR LIFESTYLE MANAGER
Happy Holidays! Our awesome community is growing as more and more people close on their homes, go under contract, and join in on the Esplanade at The Heights Lifestyle! Please remember that as soon as you go under contract with Taylor Morrison on this property, you are invited to participate in all Lifestyle events and activities! Our Lifestyle programming is tailored to your interests, so do not hesitate to reach out to us with your comments and suggestions for our events in the future! The holiday season is among us! It’s hard to believe we’re already nearly done with 2021. Where has the time gone? We’ve done a lot this year with Lifestyle programming, and we’re packing your last two months full of things you won’t want to miss. In November, we’ll take our last lap around The Bay (at least for a few months until it’s warm again) with another
kayaking tour! We’ll be getting our bodies ready for all the feasting at our Esplanade “Friendsgiving” Potluck by completing the Esplanade Turkey Trot 5K! We’ll also be celebrating International Men’s Day on November 19 with an exclusive event for our Esplanade gentlemen. We haven’t forgotten your pups either! Schedule a “Photo with Santa” for your fur-babies to share on your holiday cards or show off at our December Holiday Yappy Hour. A December in Sarasota local favorite, the Holiday Lights Tour, will start with a Hot Cocoa Social to create a full holiday season experience. To end the year right, our “Noon” Year’s Eve walk and toast is back and even better. We love helping you create a fun, balanced Lifestyle! Additional event details are available on the following pages. Please contact me, your Lifestyle Manager, with any questions.

Gardening
IN FLORIDA Florida Wildlife Federation strongly supports home gardening projects that provide food, water, and shelter to native species. All species need certain life-sustaining necessities, such as the monarch butterfly needing the milkweed plant. The Florida Wildlife Federation strives to educate others about how they can individually take part in saving the state and the planet in their own backyard. One of the most important ways we can help native plants and animals is by eliminating invasive species in our gardens and public parks. These unwelcome species are a major problem in Florida; they can rapidly run wild, threatening many natural areas by overgrowing native plants. Some of the removal of invasive plants can require using herbicides or machinery and may best be done by professionals. But we can take steps in our own gardens, yards and neighborhoods to prevent the spread of some of these invaders. On the National Wildlife Federation’s website, you can find links to valuable information for gardening in Florida! Including information on how to garden for conservation and what plant species are preferred for our environment and climate. Visit floridawildlifefederation.org/ gardening-in-florida to learn more!
