Summer is coming to an end and fall is in the air!
As more and more people go under contract and close on their home, the bigger our social life gets! Please remember that as soon as you go under contract with Taylor Morrison on this property, you are invited to participate in all Lifestyle events and activities. The Lifestyle Program is tailored to your interests, so do not hesitate to reach out to us with your comments and suggestions for our events in the future. We did not let the summer heat stop us from enjoying the company of our neighbors and friends; your Lifestyle Team made sure to keep your schedules packed with plenty to do! We celebrated the Fourth of July with a First Friday block party and enjoyed live music, great food and the wonderful company of our neighbors. We took trips out of the community and went snorkeling at Egmont Key, Offshore Fishing out of Marina Jacks, and even to the circus for a night under the big top at the Ringling Museum.

Nevertheless, the heat is still here! Your Lifestyle Team has been working hard to provide a variety of engaging social events and activities to give you an opportunity to connect with your neighbors and make our Esplanade at The Heights community flourish as we enter autumn months.
We also used this time to give back to our community! We raised money for Keep Manatee Beautiful and made a bountiful donation to help with the efforts to keep our beaches clean. We also collected school supplies for families in need, as the upcoming school year approached. In August, we dove into the world of culinary experiences, as we welcomed our National Director of Food and Beverage, Patrick Scully, for his second event in the Cooking & Cocktail Series, Grillin’ and Chillin’! We have so much in store in the world of Lifestyle, especially with the anticipated opening of our Resort Amenity Center! From kayaking though mangroves, to sunset comedy cruises and HowlO-Ween parades, we hope you are able to join us for our upcoming programming. Check out the following pages to see what is planned. With over 14 years of property and community management experience, I accepted the role as Community Association Manager of Esplanade at The Heights. Previously managing Waterlefe Golf and River Club over the past three years, I was excited to accept this role at The Heights and bring my knowledge, experience, and initiative to the position.
If you could have a sit-down dinner with anyone in history, who would it be and why? My great grandpa, Frank. To me, he encompassed true happiness in life. He was compassionate, kind, loving, joyful, and a great dancer. Since he has been gone, I realize there are things I never got to ask him and some things I would love to have his advice on.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? Spending time with my son. You can typically find us at the beach, on the boat, or visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando!
Stop by the Meals on Wheels donation bin in the Resort Amenity Center to drop off non-perishable items to give to those in need as we enter the holiday season. Needed items include, but are not limited to, canned vegetables, baby formula/cereal, canned fruits, boxed rice, boxed pasta, canned soups, breakfast bars, etc. We know our Members are passionate about connecting with the local community through philanthropy opportunities and charitable giving. We’d love to share the ways you are making our community a more positive place, as well as ways Members can get involved. Tell your Lifestyle Manager about it so we may highlight your efforts in future publications.

We teamed up with Azario for an Esplanade Blood Drive. Members were given the opportunity to give the gift of life to those in need. Blood DRIVE All aboard the tour-de-Anna Maria Island! Members got a quick lesson on how to ride, and then they were off! They explored the tip of Anna Maria at Bean Point, found secret beach pathways, looked for historical landmarks and more! They came back with a new love for Anna Maria, and a new Segway-riding skill!
We set sail out of downtown Sarasota aboard the LeBarge for a gorgeous sunset cruise! Members were able to eat, drink and socialize with Members of other Esplanade communities. Our Captain brought us through the best waterways and showed us the staple Sarasota sunset.

We kicked off First Friday at The Heights with a fabulous party! Despite the rain and quick change of location, we were able to enjoy music, food and great company in our Sales Gallery! This is definitely something we’ll be looking forward to on a monthly basis!

We enjoyed an outing to the new PopStroke Sarasota! This awesome mini golf course was a great way to spend the night with friends in the neighborhood. Members split into teams and played all night!

To ring in the 4th of July weekend, we threw a block party at our (future) Resort Amenity Center! With yard games, a rocking band and delicious BBQ, it was a party no one wanted to miss! FRIDAY
We climbed aboard our snorkel ship for a beautiful morning out on the water. Two stops were made along this trip, at Passage Key and at the ruins of Egmont Island. We saw all kinds of fish, sea urchins, starfish, sand dollars and more! Due to interest, we will look at planning future snorkeling adventures soon!

2. Combine pumpkin and ¼ cup of the oat powder you made and stir until well combined.
¼ cup pumpkin puree ¼ cup gluten free oatmeal ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder 2 teaspoons raw honey
1. Using a coffee grinder or blender, grind the oats until they turn into a powder.
3. Add the ground cinnamon and mix well.
4. Add the honey and stir until it forms a paste. If the mask is too thick, you may add a little more honey, or a few drops of water to thin it out.
SALAD baby spinach, raw cup dried cranberries cup pecans, halved tablespoons feta cheese granny smith apple, sliced Fuji apple, sliced slices bacon, cooked and chopped Make Dressing: Add all the ingredients for the maple dijon vinaigrette to a small mason jar. Shake to mix. Layer Salad: Add the spinach to a medium size bowl or plate. Top with dried cranberries, halved pecans, feta cheese, sliced apples, and cooked bacon. Dress & Toss: Drizzle the salad dressing over the top of the salad, toss and serve.

That fascination is largely based on the fear of sharks that the film Jaws originally stoked decades ago–but there’s so much more to these incredible wild animals than their sharp teeth!
