Welcome to Summer!

Your Lifestyle team is excited to share with you the latest edition of the Lifestyle Magazine. Inside each month’s publication, you will receive updates on the Resort Management Team, community happenings, as well as events and activities that are coming up.

Skye Ranch is growing, and so is our team! In anticipation of our Resort Amenity Center opening, we’ve welcomed the following team members to the Skye Ranch family:

The wait is over! We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Hub on Thursday, July 4. Festivities will start at 1 p.m. and will close out with a celebratory firework display at approximately 8:30 p.m. (more details are available on page 10)!

Your Fitness & Athletics Manager, Clee has been working

hard on the group class fitness schedule and has added many new classes and instructors to the calendar. Group fitness classes will be complimentary to Members while we transition into the Hub and capture your interest in these various programs. Keep an eye on your emails for important information on fitness memberships and program updates!

As you start planning your social calendar for the next few months, log onto the community website and register for all events and activities you’re interested in attending. If you registered for an activity that you are no longer able to attend, simply contact your Lifestyle team to be taken off the registration list. Registrations are important so proper accommodations can be made for Members.

Renee is originally from Baton Rouge, LA and spent time in New Orleans as well. Renee’s dad worked for IBM, so her family moved every few years. Renee lived most of her life in the southeast and mid-Atlantic with the exceptions being Austin, Texas and the Bahamas. Renee loved spending time with her dog Jorge who would have turned 18 this year. Her most recent career experience was working in various positions in Senior Living. She hopes to be able to apply that experience and learn new skills in the position of Member Services Coordinator! Members can find Renee at the front desk at the Hub!

We recently lost Tobby, our 17-year-old cat. He liked to lounge in our lanai under the sun. He was a friendly companion rescued at age one. We miss him.

Astronomy Night with SIDEWALK SCIENCE

We hosted a night under the stars at Turner Park! Members built their very own sextant to measure how high in the sky a star is and then moved into stargazing!

Cooking & Cocktail Series: SCALLOPS TWO WAYS

Members explored the culinary versatility of scallops and enjoyed two homemade scallop dishes as well as a cooking demonstration!
