Fitness Apps Chris Woodruff of the Wellness Committee reviewed several fitness apps and found one that may be useful to you, so I thought I would share his thoughts below:
Leslie Boehlert Lifestyles Director lboehlert@ evergreen-LM.com 772-800-2505
“There are a multitude of fitness apps available to help you achieve your fitness goals. The app I use is called My Fitness Pal. It’s a free app with loads of features, but does offer a premium package that I haven’t explored yet. The free version of My Fitness Pal allows you to input your gender, age, weight and goals; then it tells you how many calories you should consume to reach your goals. In the “Diary” section, you enter your meals, snacks, and exercise, and it provides you with a daily running total of how many calories you have remaining. There are also articles on fitness topics and healthy eating along with recipes available. Fitness apps are a great way to help
you achieve your fitness goals. Try one and see if it helps you. See you in the gym!”
