BOSQUE DEL APACHE SAN ANTONIO, NEW MEXICO
The Bosque Del Apache is a National Wildlife refuge located south of San Antonio, New Mexico. The primary function of the park was to restore the wetland habitat that has been destroyed due to the channeling of the Rio Grande. Our task was to develop a concept that encompasses the characteristic of the site and use that as the conceptual underpinnings for a series of works.
PHOTO ESSAY Using a photo taken from the site this piece emulates an aggregation found in nature. The differnt levels of clarity give the viewer a sense of how the reeds conceal and reveal your view.

UTOPIA ARCH 202 STUDIO
UTOPIA Based on Donald Judd’s’ vision for Marfa, Texas, a creative utopia for artist and designers, I designed an all-encompassing makers space at the gate of Nob Hill in Albuquerque, NM. This space houses a fabrication lab, both manual and digital, as well as an open studio space and a triple height gallery space.
ARTIST MODELS HAND POLISHED ALUMINUM / ACRYLIC
A series of three that is based on the core principals of american artsit Donald Judds’ works: materiality, reflection and proximity. As you change your spatial relationship with each piece the polished metal chenges the reflection of the acrylic.

PARKING DAY TEMPORARY SWING Parking Day is a international event that challenges people to reclaim the land that usually belongs to vehicles. You take one metered parking space and turn it into a temporary park! This year the Installations team built a temporary swing, which can be assembled on site in 15 minutes. The swing was reinstalled at the UNM School of Architecture and Planning for its yearly open house event, and was on display for the weeks following.
TEDxABQ WOMENS EVENT 2018 KIMO THEATRE, ALBUQUERQUE NM The Installations team was presented with the opportunity to design the stage for the TEDxABQ Women’s Event, a yearly event produced by TEDxABQ. We took the events graphics as a starting off point and used white tulle and powerful stage lights as our medium. We created a flowing orgic form that was intended to frame and create a dramatic backdrop for the speakers.
