That one loss? 66-59 to Schoolcraft on Nov. 21 of last year - Owens has won six straight to open the season by an average margin of 49 points per game. They have won every game by at least 23, and they have now won 20 consecutive regular season games dating back to Jan. 6 of last season. - Owens defeated Schoolcraft 81-42 on the road Nov. 16. It was the largest margin of victory by either team in the history of the series. Schoolcraft is 22-16 all-time against Owens, including a 10-8 record at Owens. Head coach Mike Llanas is 7-13 all-time vs Schoolcraft, and he is 2-2 against Schoolcraft head coach Kara Kinzer. Owens has never went 2-0 against Schoolcraft in a single season in series history. They have went 2-1 three times, though. - Owens is 5th in the nation in scoring at 94.3 per game. They are also tied for second in rebounds (53.0/game), 6th in assists (20.3), 14th in FTM (121) and 9th in FT% (74.7). - The No. 3 preseason ranking for Owens is the highest in program history. - Following today’s game, Owens will host Muskegon on Saturday at 1 p.m. - Jeryn Reese, a sophomore forward, eclipsed 500 career points on Nov. 9, becoming just the 41st player in program history to reach that mark.
